He did not in the novel - his 1st time is with Hira - if they make him sleep with someone else that like SO NOT HIM. I will be very mad as this adaptation is up till now VERY good. My feeling is this was part of Hiras imagination - in novel during the diner he saw them talking and some other people were saying that Kiyoi is gay and they are together and he was like - yeah they look good together - of course he has someone etc.

It depends on your work and life in Japan tbh. But people don't really go talking about things like that in Japan. But since he was in acting/arts circles he could be more open and did declare it to Kazukis brother - he was also hit on A LOT. But he was faithful to his feelings for Hira... Poor guy xD

well in a way Kiyoi is unsure himself when the feeling of superiority became love - but as he is gay as declared by himself he probably picked on Hira cos he liked him/was attracted to him, and that grew to love and him admitting to himself that THIS IS LOVE xD
This drama has tested me and my ability to watch it all >.< finally finished it. I REALLY thought it would go in a different direction since ep 9 - well... we can't win all the time with our drama choices. But I feel this was a 1st big miss 4 me in a long time.

Yeah I was thinking ep 3 will start with graduation or like 1/2 over and end with him meeting Kiyoi on the stage - but lets see - so far the changes work - hopefully they keep the momentum.
Well at least we got an Saezuru anime - live adaptation would be a tough sell (movie would be too short - so it would need to be a drama). Now that the manga is on the 2nd story arch it will take a while to get the direction as I think she is still setting up the new dynamics. Still cannot wait for each new chapter!

Oh I saw the trailer here only and it was all high school - tho the opening sequence - has the college scene. Just watched the other trailers on youtube - yeah I think it will be all in those 6eps ehh. I think high school may end at next ep tho? And they will focus more on the college years?
