No this starts WAY earlier and has a different context. The whole reason Kiyoi was drunk was due to hearing that Hira is dating Koyuma during the gathering. So he was thinking why did he get passed over - he is way better wtf is Hira thinking? xD - So when he saw him outside the izakaya he wanted to know if Hira will go to see Koyuma after this - as he is still under the impression those 2 are dating. He wanted to be told they are NOT dating and that Hira still likes him and ONLY him.
What I find with the subtitles is that while they are correct they do not give the same feeling sometimes as the Japanese they speak. Like on the bridge the translation says "Do you like me or him?" but his question and context is more of a "Between the 2 of us who do you like?" It's not just about liking, but who is the superior person for Hira. This is also in line with Kiyois previous thoughts - that he is better then Koyuma, that Hira is wrong in his choice is he is not picking him. Hope this helps.
As a huge fan of the Manhwa since it started I must say I REFUSE to call that show an adaptation. More like inspired by... ANYWAY.
I really sincerely hope that China picks it up someday as they have the resources to make the show what is should look like. Also good picks tho I would like Cheng Yi as Mui instead xD

For me the plot looks more like the BL CD then the novel - almost to the letter - the scenes and the dialogues - so I think this is how it will go. Also if there is no Kiyoi POV from half of ep4 onwards or a mix of them both then I'm sooo mad! His POV made this story so good uhh. Anyhow one more week of torture to see and know xD
