so bawoo actually did tell hoon that he likes him after their exam (i thought i misunderstood that part previously) and hoon once again acted clueless and took that confession lightly bec this paboo didn't even get that it was a romantic confession and not a fxckass declaration of friendship. i'm sorry i know it's frustrating but i can kinda relate to why bawoo doesn't want to explicitly say he likes hoon again in fear of getting hurt even if hoon asked him twice. it might be frustrating and immature but i can empathize with bawoo esp when he's dealing with someone as annoyingly clueless as hoon (or is he just acting stupid at this point?)

i genuinely don't know how the korean fans received it but saw that the main actor hinted that there will be fanmeeting? i really hoped it flopped in korea as hard it did globally because i don't want the production nor the director to think is was okay what they did. straight up gonna say it was borderline homophobic and queerbaiting and they genuinely disrespected the original writer's work. i sincerely hope koreans don't hype this project. sorry for the actors but heesu in class 2 do not deserve an ounce of secret relationship success. i saw a fan say they probably even casted a minor for the role to avoid any physical intimacy and i so agree. that feels homophobic to me. besides i've watch couple of censored same-sex work that delivered much better even without actors holding hands. it's not just about kissing or whatever. i know it's 2023 production but still kbls have come such a long way since semantic error. this one was truly unacceptable. i'll say it again do not touch queer works if you can't commit to the genre and support the community.

This adaptation is for the straight people. We need an adaptation for the gays (Thailand or Japan, please take…
the japanese production who did "Kieta Hatsukoi" would so do this manhwa justice preferably with that same cast 😭
On Heesu in Class 2 Apr 25, 2025
i don't even know how to put into words how frustrated i am. at this point i'll go as far as saying this project is borderline homophobic. selling the "non-existent" straight ship over the actual main couple. not just the main couple, the main character of this story but why am i watching juchan in class 2??? why do i need to watch his tennis scenes when we once in a blue moon could have gotten seungwon heesu scenes. they didn't even get to eat that damn pizza. what was the point of inviting him home if tthey were gonna cut that scene so abruptly just to show me more scenes of that tennis player? i feel like they only use the "bl element" to gain popularity bec they know the queer community will support queer projects. but this aint how you do a queer series. there's nothing bl over it apart from two boys just simply having a crush. i'm seriously so pissed that i wasted my time. it's a waste of jiho and sangjun chemistry but i guess their management just let them star in a bl show to gain a little popularity bec quite frankly it feels like director wants to avoid any physical intimacy between the leads so "it doesn't damage their future image" iykyk.. just saying. i've watched plenty of koreans projects to know what the fcuk they are trying to do here. i'm so out.
On Something's Not Right Apr 24, 2025
might be controversial but i kinda don't feel any chemistry between bawoo and hoon. i mean that small scene where hamin says "do bawoo, i like you. not as a friend but seriously" i felt more butterflies than in scenes where bawoo and hoon touch lips or lock eyes. idk i find hoon very annoyingly clueless. it's frustrating. i know it's also frustrating to him that bawoo doesn't explain his actions and doesn't openly communicate with him but i can relate to bawoo in one way or another where i seriously just find hoon annoying (it must also be because the rookie actor isn't very convincing in his acting). i just don't see them end up together romantically. they just don't have that chemistry (yet). the script is also kinda all over the place. not to be annoying myself but if i have to compare even in 'business as usual', that i'm watching consecutively with this show, the characters don't communicate properly but i still empathize with both characters and both actors are very convincing in their roles and their chemistry is through the roof. here i'll even accept the outcome that bawoo doesn't end up with anyone. that would be more realistic to me at least. sorry to offend anyone if my comment is rambbly.

Title Business as Usual Spoiler
we all knew it's all misunderstanding misunderstanding and misunderstanding but can someone please make me understand…
spoiler from manhwa...

after they kissed first time, jinhwan already considered they were dating. like we see in the next episode preview, jinhwan doesn't quite remember the details of the phone call but he does remember that there were many people who liked him that time, and since he didn't want minjoon to get upset, jinhwan tried to cut ties with everyone who liked him. but there was a person who was clinging onto him and didn't understand that jinhwan wasn't interested so jinhwan asks a friend for help to "get rid of him". so it was not minjoon he was referring to but another person. but naturally minjoon misunderstands because he doesn't fully know the context of the phone call. hope it makes sense. it's been a while since i read the manhwa tho.

Title Business as Usual Spoiler
Finally jinhwan’s pov😭 it was all a misunderstanding. He’s been liking minjoon since day 1 and his friend…
as an overthinker and shy person myself i can't even blame minjoon nor can i blame jinhwan for all the misunderstandings. they were both naive and inexperienced. i'm happy they "quickly" cleared it in this episode. we still have 3 more episodes and i hope we get to see their adult dating era in the upcoming episodes 🥺
On Business as Usual Apr 17, 2025
personally i truly enjoyed this episode. the way they showed jinhwan's pov like in the manhwa, i'm so pleased how they are doing it justice (not like HIC2 sorry to shade). the acting of both actors is impressive despite being rookies. and their chemistry is through the roof. i know it's only 6 episodes but i also appreciate that they're not dragging the story. as someone who read the manhwa and was hesitant to start the series in fear of getting disappointed, i must say i'm veryyyy pleased. this type of series is just my cup of tea. focus on the main couple without unnecessary side characters or filler scenes. just straight to the point and we get to see both pov of the main characters. I LOVE IT.

Something is going to happen? I watched 2 episodes and nothing happened yet.
nothing grand needs to happen for a story to be great. enjoy it for the cinematography, the attention to details, the symbolism, the delicate storytelling and sizzling chemistry of the actors. it's not just a drama but art, a masterpiece for those who can truly understand the essence of this drama.
On Heesu in Class 2 Apr 12, 2025
I haven't read the manhwa, but it's awfully slow for only a 10 episodes series. Only four episodes left and what I really dislike about dramas in general is when they only make the main couple date for the last episode and quickly wrap up a story. Why can't we enjoy their dating era for longer than 1-2 episodes? It's very lazy writing to me and lacks creativity. Also if directors and producers can't commit to the BL genre, stay away from original works and just create your own story with a hetero couple (which there are plenty of to begin with) as main leads. I don't like the disproportionate screen time for the main leads which should be our queer couple. This is their story, this is Heesu's story. For comparison, 'Light On Me' was 16 episode series that could feel slow at times as well, but at least the focus was always on the main leads. Sorry to offend manhwa readers or other people who genuinely enjoy this show, but I'm really frustrated with how this series is executed when we waited for 2 years to watch it. And no, I'm not here to just watch two boys kiss. Don't make everyone who criticize this show for being an obsessed fujoshi. I'm part of the community myself. I just want to watch queer stories without the interference of hetero couples. There are tons of dramas out there about straights. Leave the BL stories to people who can truly commit to the genre and understands the essence of creating queer stories. I don't know if I'm making any sense. Just wanted to rant I guess.

Hear me out! Is this really from mainland China or from HongKong?
from their official account it’s stated that it’s mainland china production but on their youtube channel their location is set to hong kong so i’m not sure either ㅠ

Someone please spoil it for me. Does end sad or happy? Details are ok, just remember too comment with spoiler…
It’s definitely a happy ending and taiwanese level full-out make out scene in the end. Make sure to follow their youtube channel for extended and extra clips. Currently they’re sharing the couple’s daily life after the finale. So safe to say they have a happy ending together.

Title I'll Turn Back This Time Spoiler
I should have expected that ending. It's Chinese. Whatever. But I'm still pissed for wasting my time. The actors did their best but the script was nonsensical, the directing was poorly. And this might be controversial but that ending was borderline homophobic. Really.. As long as they stay away from each other, the curse is broken. As long as they don't be together? For real. It's so disappointing. So in the end another Chinese production that doesn't believe in happy ever after for same sex couples. I'm done.
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Oct 8, 2024
Season 2 was even better than season 1 so I'm very hopeful about a new season altho I'm usually against several seasons of a drama (esp. bc I don't trust kdrama writers in general kkk). But season 2 ended with an open ending, and I'm so intrigued to know if they're going to focus on the military cases like they hinted at which would be great. I'm someone who really enjoyed "Military Prosecutor Doberman" for instance. AND I would love to know more about Kim Dogi's past story related to Moon Chaewon's character. I was so happy about her cameo in last ep. and she's an excellent actress to add to the existing cast. She already had great chemistry with Lee Jehoon even with a short cameo.
