He is pure eye candy, and what I love about him, is that he is manly, unlike those pretty boys we see everywhere who look like clones. I think he's a good actor, not fantastic, but good.
Woah! Kang Ha Neul is my number 1 too. And I also like the other actors you mention, although there are quite a few I don't know (yet). Seems you have good tastes lol.
So you consider 7 to 8.5 a bad rating? To me, it's still very good. I'm not complicated: I follow the MDL criteria, ie 5-6 it's okay, 7-8 I like, 9-10 I love lol.
Haha, you're like me, you have more actors that you favour than actresses. I find it harder to like actresses as too many fall into the trap of over-acting (or acting cute), and I also find that writers often don't polish female characters the way they do male ones, so actresses can't shine as much.
You can definitely tell this was a shoujo manga adaptation but at the same time there aren't any of those typical…
If you haven't watched Zenkai Girl, I would recommend it, as it too doesn't have the OTT/cliche scenes of a manga, yet retain all the cuteness of it :)
I LOVE the Hong sisters dramas, I even love their bitter sweet endings, because they're more memorable than happy endings (and yes, I love sad endings too). Their characters are always bigger than life, a little eccentric, a little crazy, and that's why I like them. They carry the whole storyline. Son Oh Gong was the very first drama character I had a massive crush on... And I too watched the 3 dramas you mention and all 3 are in my favourite dramas list.
Well, in Mad Dog, the romance is too subtle. And The Great Seducer has harsh reviews (I haven't watched it). So I'm still waiting for a quality (it's important) drama with him as main romantic lead.
I love horror movies, or rather scary movies, because I don't rate gory as much as spooky. I don't need blood, guts or disgusting fluids to be entertained: they're rather boring and stupid in my opinion. Give me creepy music, goose-bumps inducing plot, crazy characters, eerie atmosphere...now THAT gets my heart racing. I also love a good twist!
Ah...nostalgia...this was my first Japanese series, one I watched in France as a teen. I remember a specific episode where the villain reigned over thousands of spiders, ugh.
I'm not interested in any of them...which is very good for me, as I haven't finished watching all the dramas from 2019 I wanted to watch, and my TBW list is still as long as ever. So phew, no more dramas to add to it. For now.
