imo yes this story kinda has a satisfying ending and it totally deserves many adaptations. there even will be more into the story and plot. I just hope they will make it in drama as close as the novel. so far so good though 👍🏻

yes, in the novel he did tried to look for fl but he chose to wait until fl is actually coming back from transmigrating out of respect for her. damn angst indeed :")

I shall say their romance is kinda that one that falls in love so fast yet burns so slow (esp. for Xiahou Dan) 😅 but don't worry, their love will grow, even more spicier and perhaps we could say there will be some angst towards the end of the plot 😄

I actually want to give a heads up to the scriptwriter. The novel already has a pretty complex plot and I imagine it would be not as easy to visualize it into a drama, but turns out the plot is pretty easy to follow and understand. Not even a single boring episode and it gets even more interesting. Easy to say that so far this has exceeded my expectations as someone who had read the novel and watched the donghua. What a great minds to build and evolve this story into a drama. Kudos to the scriptwriter!

according to the novel they will have some kind of romance going on but I suggest you to brace yourself for some plot twist 😄
