Am I the only one finding this... not that great? :-( Everyone's acting (but Lee Soo Hyuk) is very bad tbh (no…
yah I have to agree. It's pretty to look at though.... which is why I will watch it. And because it's short. And so far I'm not impressed by the women's wardrobe. That black thing she wore in the 2nd episode was way too much fabric for such a tiny body. On the other hand, his wardrobe is gorgeous...but he could probably wear a paper sack and look stunning. ;)
( This site has been around for many years, so I was very surprised to see the broken link. I haven't used the site in a long time though, because Dramacool has about everything you could want...but not this movie! :( Maybe wait a day and see? Sorry. No other idea.
I know. So frustrating! I did find it on DramaCool/Nice: https://www2.dramacool.movie/drama-detail/queen-in-hyuns-man But it's not great there either, but not horrible. I ended up buying it a few years ago and it is great visually, but the subs are a bit off. Even worse is one of my all time favorites, Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy. Its so blurry I won't even watch it. I even bought it hoping it would be better, but no luck.
yes, thank you. Unfortunately, (tho I will of course watch) she is just too 'flat' for me. It will be interesting to see if there is any kind of chemistry with him in this one. :(
Im Tae Kyung is the actor...he also sang one of the OSTs for this drama
I have done this before too! And yes it is a lot of work so I really appreciate those who take the time to build these. What a terrific resource this site is. I have recommended it to so many people over the years,
As usual your the best thanks for saving me time on this one, now I’m going to watch because of you (bmore)…
well, as usual, enjoyment of any drama or movie is in the eyes and heart and mood and memories of the beholder. I hope you like at least one of them! :)
What a heartbreaking, beautifully done show. Exceeded my early expectations enormously. Realistically written and wonderfully cast and acted. Really one of the highlights of this year's dramas for me. Very unusual for a kdrama.
I had different thoughts from some others where Sung Jun was concerned. He is definitely a difficult character to understand and empathize with, but, for me, his lack of emotional response, his 'frozen' demeanor, all pointed to a man who was crying out for help. I was horrified with Jung Sun shutting him out of her life and bed for 'only a year' and with her lack of understanding that he needed to grieve and be comforted also after the death of their child. She wallowed in that grief and kept all of it to herself, not allowing him into her world. No wonder he slowly froze into a robot. He had to suppress all his own grief and instead was expected to support and comfort and understand her all that time. No excuse for an affair, but it was understandable that a man who lost both his much desired child, but his loving wife fell prey to a woman who openly expressed her need for him and listened to him. Ergo, her comment to Jung Sun that she had no idea who her husband really was nor what issues he was struggling with.
He should have been talking to her all along, of course, but then it became too late after she closed herself off in her grieving. Lots of mistakes we could see from the outside. And very relatable to some of us I'm sure. Forgone ending also, but so sad none the less....we all like our happy endings. Both of them are going to suffer for a very long time after this....and he still has no one to share his grieving with, which is his punishment. And she will have too many regrets and, I'm sure, anger to deal with.
Everyone keeps saying Be Melo was really good, but I dropped it 3 episodes in. Could not attach myself to the characters or story at all! I need to go back and try again. Absolutely LOVED Avengers....watched it twice and will watch again! 10/10 Chaos was adorable, really enjoyed it 8.5/10. Fantastic was cute as it could be and I also enjoyed every minute of it 8.5/10 Falling was a nice sweet show 7/10.
