He already bugged us for 18 out of 24 episodes. He's here to support the FL's business ventures. I like him a lot…
Yea if they developed his character more he would be more enjoyable as a character in my opinion. Some other dramas (ie: Ashes of Love) have even more obsessive SML than MZX, but most people don't mind and even sympathize because their character is more fleshed out. Too bad this is only 24 episodes though, not much time for that haha (unless they removed the 2nd pair scenes, which I wouldnt mind!)
You can tell because the voice & lip movements are sometimes out of sync This is one of the few dramas I don't mind being dubbed though, since they do a really good job at it for the most part.
Episode 20 is probably my favorite episode so far -SML finally giving up chasing FL and simply supporting her through her business ventures -ML's mother being likable. People made her out to be some evil person who's going to be an obstacle between the two leads for the rest of the show, but that's not the case. I think she saw through the SFL's tricks, as she seemed to show admiration for Xixi afterwards (not knowing it was just Xiaoya's doing lol) -Xixi working on establishing a name for herself so she isn't just some lucky poor girl that found a rich guy -favorite part: Yin Sichen's emotional part at the end. I really felt the emotions that Wangzi Qi was trying to convey. What an incredible actor!
Seriously, what's the point of the 2nd couple? Their story is just weird all over
I would've been more interested if the 2nd couple was about either Yin Sichen's assistant or Xiaoya (FL's friend). At least they're actually relevant to the story.
I thought the last part of episode 20 was one of the most emotionally unexpected scenes in a drama I have seen…
Yea, episode 20 was really well done. The last part, especially. I fully understood and felt what the ML was going through. I need to see WZQ as the lead in more dramas.
am i the only one that skips all the second lead couple scenes ?
If I knew everything they say and do in those scenes are completely irrelevant to the story I would've as well.
I would've actually been interested in a side story for Xiaoya or Yi Sichen's assistant, because they're actually relevant to the story and it should be more interesting than seeing a man child trying to chase a girl.
Hi so I'm thinking if I should watch this drama from the comments I see that it's okay but the second leads are…
I don't mind the second leads honestly. The SFL does everything she can to pose problems to the FL, but every time she does, the FL and ML bond even closer after solving the problem. The SML doesn't do anything sinister like the SFL does. He's just always there for the FL and trying to gain her affection.
Not sure if "predictable" is the right word, but it does have "classic"/cliche elements in it that are used very often in other dramas of the same genre. The main leads carry the drama for me. If you just want to watch a cute couple (with very good chemistry) develop their relationship, it's a good drama to watch.
Yep, I hate the ML's friend too.Maybe I'm biased after just finishing a drama where all the supporting cast are…
Oh my bad, I meant the secondary couple's male lead, not the one going after Gu Xi Xi. There is a love triangle (or square?). It hasn't been terrible so far (up to ep 14), but it did get slightly more annoying in the recent episodes.
The ML friend SK is not only useless, childish, irresponsible and annoying but he is disrespectful person. He…
Yep, I hate the ML's friend too. Maybe I'm biased after just finishing a drama where all the supporting cast are likeable, but I don't think it's completely unreasonable to expect a character that makes so many appearances to contribute to the drama in some positive way. This character is just plain annoying and has only been detrimental to the relationship between the main leads so far.
Honestly the misunderstandings in the recent episodes seem so poorly written and dragged out. Makes you wonder how it even got to that point. (Ep 14) You found the girl after learning about the misunderstanding, and she's with your love rival! Better clear up the misunderstanding asap, right? Nah, leave them and give them some alone time together. I really like the cast. They all play their roles well, especially the two main leads who have such good chemistry together. But if the story keeps going on like this, I'm afraid their talent would have been wasted on a poor script & story.
But don't worry, it gets better.

done really well though
24 episodes only, would be a waste of time

ML falls for FL.
Then FL falls for ML.
