I think I may be going against the grain here, but I don't think TeeteePor would be a good replacement for JimmyOhm. I know actors are versatile and they can play different roles with other personalities, but I don't think that they have the suitable feel for calmness and romantic exploration that JimmyOhm fit to perfection. The original trio worked because of the synergy between the three couples was balanced with different plots and personalities, so I think that if TeeteePor replaced them they would be too close to the upbeatness (?) and playfulness of ThomasKong. I think others that would be good for the role would be perhaps LatteKim or TutorYim? I don't think having a newer couple would be right since both KengNamping and ThomasKong have long been established so I don't think they would fit well. But this is just my opinion.
Oh my heart, my loves, my firstkhao ♡. This drama will always be my comfort show I can't even express how much I love AkkAyan. The background music is so soothing too.
Just finished this. It's a fantastic BL - definitely one of the best ever made. I think everyone agrees the story…
Thank you for taking the time to write such a well constructed comment. I agree with all of your points - it seems to me that most of the criticism around Namping and Keng's characters is due to the unconventional personalities which aren't usually portrayed in typical BLs. It saddens me to see people automatically equating a calm and virtuous character such as Khem to being boring and flavourless.
Also, I agree that the idea of Namping being a bad actor is absurd. His ability to capture the personality of Jet when they were on the bridge was phenomenal, and the subtle shift at the end when he was a father was small but impactful.
I've seen the most outrageous reviews on this series like you described, comments about poor acting and having a weak script or being too long and drawn out. It's crazy to me how some people can come to these conclusions. To me, everyone gave such compelling performances, especially the actress playing Ramphueng. From a pacing perspective, there was a perfect balance between smatterings of comedy, the slowly developing relationship as Peem began soften and open up more to Khem, the intimacy which played a vital role in the progression, and yet the focus of the plot never seemed to take the sideline either.
I am in Ep 6 now. And i can't understand the problem anymore. I love the main couple so much. It is sooo intrueging…
i totally get you!! Im confused with all these comments saying this series is bad and cringe because I'm just here absolutely loving it. Po and Sasom are so freaking cute together, especially when they are on their dates. People are dragging Po's actor and his expressions, but that's one of the things that makes me more attached to his character. Glad to know I'm not the only one enjoying this show
