this is one of the best BL to come out recently. it takes a minute to get going but when you see that the actors can actually act and the characters are growing and changing, it becomes a beautiful, fun, and engaging story. love this pairing too.
wasn't in love after the first few episodes. decided to stick with it and now I think its one of the best BL of the year. Hit my heart in a way that very few BL have recently. I have laughed and cried... I'm really not one for fluff but this is so well done that it feels real and human! Love the writing and the acting, really impressed with both Por and TeeTee, there is a surprising amount of subtlety in their performances even with the comedy and over the top style.
I also really appreciate that their relationship doesn't fall into easily defined roles. So refreshing and honestly more realistic to see that portrayed in a BL.
Please tell me this will pick up pace because I am having hard time
the first few episodes are character development that helps the rest of the story make sense. When they eventually start getting to know each other their relationship development is SO worth it.
Justice for this show! People really just dont understand it... Its supposed to be funny and very silly. I thought it was going to be bad and I loved it.
Everyone in the comments saying this is the worst BL ever. Yet here I am, 100+ BL deep and TharnType is still a BL I will defend. Is it toxic? Absolutely. That's part of why its great. They are a match made in hell, deserve each other, complete each other, bring out the worst and the best in each other.... So fun to watch. The chemistry is insane. The writing is totally unhinged, and hilarious.
i honestly really liked it. i usually dont like vertical BL but this one was really well made, the story was simple but it felt balanced and interesting. the actors were great.
This show is fucking incredible so far. I really cant believe how well done it is. I hope they stick the landing in the last few episodes because this set up is amazing. Both couples are super interesting, the acting from the leads to every supporting actor is on point, the writing is balanced and well paced, the direction is effective, the cinematography and lighting is beautiful... Even the sets are so thoughtful and well designed. I appreciate that all of the characters are 3 dimensional with their own motivations and sympathies, no flat villains or perfectly innocent heroes.
I was just watching it and thinking this. Like i'm actually SO floored at how good it is... Every single aspect is so well done. I had faith that it would be good but it has really exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
criminally low rating for such an amazing series. MDL ratings always need to be taken with a grain of salt but this one is truly crazy. The acting is perfect, the tension goes crazy, well written script and thoughtful story, great characters, well made production with artistic merit... what's the issue??
Really glad that GMMTV terminated their work with the director after his disgusting sexual harassment comments on social media. Hope they take their protection of artists seriously in the future and continue to address this kind of behavior in the company.
The ONLY reason this is rated so low is that its starring OffGun and they have set the standard very high. For any other CP this would be seen as an amazing performance and people would love it. Its not cringe and the acting is good. I think after Not Me people just had super high expectations for OG series, and this didn't meet expectations, which is fair enough. But it's not a bad show by any means.
I just rewatched this series and it honestly gets better every time. The atmosphere, the cinematography, the acting, its so beautiful. I can revisit it again and again and it still breaks my heart and heals it again every time. One of my all time favorite GMMTV dramas, and one of their best BL works in my opinion.
this series is great. MDL ratings are way too low. The actors did an amazing job, especially chen ye sheng. I really hated him at first and then suddenly saw through the cracks to the repressed and traumatized person underneath... really interesting series. And the critique of censoring BL works for funding as well.. interesting.
This show is so unfairly underrated. Its so good and has really amazing acting performances. But since it doesnt fit into a perfect cookie cutter then it wont be rated as highly as a more generic show.

unfortunately i think a lot of BL fans will poorly rate anything that deviates from the standard BL plotline and story progression. I heard a lot of complaints that it was too scary, too complicated, and a bad ending. I totally disagree with the criticisms but such is life.
