This drama does get better in the later episodes. And really, it's never bad. But it's just OFF. I think it is the directing and editing more than anything. And the fight directing is just atrocious, which there is just no excuse for since Kdramas are chock full of examples of fantastic fight scenes.Plus Kim Sun Ah's character has been very disappointing (I expected a much cooler and stronger female lead). So overall, I was looking forward to this drama based on the cast and the premise. It has let me down. It's just very poorly executed.

Again. I love this drama to pieces. And I still don't know why?! Of all the dramas I'm currently watching I find this the most crack-tastic and it's an extra special treat because I didn't expect to love it at all. In fact, I went into it fully expecting to drop it at some point or only be mildly amused. But there's something...directing maybe? The neat little writing / plot details? Idk. I just really really like it! I hope it keeps this up. Lots of dramas were awesome at 6 eps and sunk like the Titanic around episode 12 or so, so my fingers are crossed.

I've never been able to get through a JDorama before. I love many Japanese films, but the TV hasn't really resonated with me. However, I had just finished watching the first episode of the Korean remake of this drama and thought it would be fun to give this a try. It is great! This kind of low key, slice of life drama is right up my alley! I wish there were more dramas of any nationality like this.

Fingers crossed someone will sub this. I never saw the original Japanese one but I love this kind of slice of…
Yeah!!!! Thanks so much for the info!

I just started this and is anyone getting a You're All Surrounded vibe? ^.^ Like with a detective team and goofy…
This show is about a million times better written than YAS.

YES! You are right on.

I love it already ~ But the doctor played by Choi Won Young (I think?) talks to Cha Ji An about "Bastard…
What I find most suspicious about the doctor is the actor they have playing him. I think that gives it away. I don't think they would have cast that guy if there wasn't more to that role than just being the helpful coroner.

I'm actually surprised at how good this drama is so far. I hope it will keep being this enjoyable and thrilling!
That's my reaction exactly! I mean, I like Seo In Guk a lot, so I was going to watch this. But there is something I cannot quite put my finger on that is making me really like it more than I thought it would. I think it's that it has a deeper theme than I was expecting and is darker than I thought it would be. It's really grabbing me!

Song Il Kook was my first Kdrama crush. I worshipped him in Jumong! I loved how as his character aged he did such a good job "aging" as well and maturing. I went on to watch all the dramas listed above except that one from 2004. Man Called God is really a stinking pile of garbage, but he is hot in it for sure. The others are all pretty good at least. Sea God is just an incredible, must watch drama if you like sageuks. And he is very good in it! And younger, and super hot and broody. SIK will always have a place in my heart!

Episode 12 = BEST DRUNK SCENE IN THE HISTORY OF KDRAMAS! And that's a lot of drunk scenes!

Really slick so far! In the vein of Cruel City / Missing Noir M / Vampire Prosecutor. Well done! I hope they keep it up!

I really liked this drama. It didn't blow me away, but the plot and the theme and the ending were much better and cohesive than most Kdramas. I particularly loved the theme that marriage takes effort and that hard work is what makes the lead couple get together and stay together NOT FATE. I think this is a mature and more realistic look at an OTP than so many Kdramas have and I really love it. The neatest narrative trick was that they had to choice to go with the FATE thing but they chose not to and to use hard work instead to win Jung Woo's mom over. The fated to love you thing gets old and is really unrealistic. That was my favorite thing about this show.

I don't want this drama to ever end. There is something just so warm and fun and real about it that I just feel good watching it. I could live in this world with these characters for a long time and never get tired of them. I LOVE THIS DRAMA!

Oh my FEELS!!!! I keep replaying and replaying the last scene (of ep 8). What a perfect emotions, scenery, dialogues,…
I totally agree. It really was one of the best confessions!

Ok. So as much as I love Kim Kang Woo, I have been watching this drama pretty slowly as the more episodic nature makes it less addictive than some Kdramas. However, episodes 6 and 7 made me a crying mess. Just so good and such wonderful acting. I'm totally hooked for the rest of the ride. Glad it is just 10 episodes so they could keep up the high quality throughout. OCN is awesome! Now if only they would give me my 3rd season of Vampire Prosecutor!!!!

Did anyone else find a good portion of the last two eps to be totally nonsensical? I actually have no clue what happened at IM or how the ending got there. It was so weird and disjointed. Terrible issues at the end. Also, I am still waiting for No Min Woo to get a decent role again. I know he can act (Midas) so I don't understand why he is only getting bad roles that cause him to have to act like such a joke (this, Sword & Petal, and Full House 2).
