I can't believe JJ is still trusting DL even after YS repeatedly exposed him... Girl, please.Du Lei : shady af,…
to be fair, if I were JJ, YS would kinda irk me a bit. I've only really seen the first four episodes but YS was the one who got her kicked out and is misusing his authority to "protect her" (to me it feels like he's looking down on her). YS doesn't let JJ do what she wants while DL, while he has his own motives, gave JJ the opportunity to meet the guy who recommended her for her job and helped her with the mountain of work YS threw at her.

Lovely well-made guide!
Haha, I find it very funny that the two c-dramas I started with are on this list: The Romance of Tiger and Rose and My Unicorn Girl. When I first started watching dramas, I would only ever watch k-dramas and had a bad misconception about the quality of c-dramas and even though I am Chinese, I found it weird to hear my mother tongue being spoken in media I would watch for fun. However, at some point, I had a k-drama burn out and couldn't find any of them enjoyable. Then I saw the Romance of Tiger and Rose in my feed and the dynamic between the male lead and female lead interested me a lot so I gave it a shot and became completely hooked. I fell in love with the clothing style and setting and it also helped improved my Chinese quite a bit. It will differ from person to person, but I would recommend to start with something short and light, specifically a rom-com that's around 24 episodes. A great majority of c-dramas are known to be quite lengthy and heavy politically so it might be quite a lot to take in for new viewers but their comedic ones are some of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Why is it common for these stalking behaviors in dramas. The FL's best friend stalking the guy going into convenient…
My exact question, kdramas are guilty of it too. When My Love Blooms was full of both leads stalking each other.

I'm only on the 2nd episode so far.I'm a fan of yunxi and Bailu. But I hate the way the ML keeps putting the FL…
Yeah I'm on episode 3 and I really don't like the male lead so far...

This Drama is visually appealing and leads are cute I guess but it is very repetitive and dare I say boring after…
I think it really all comes down to personal preference and expectations. I rated it super high and I know that like "objectively" it's not a 10 but I really enjoyed watching it.

Even though it's a slow romance, I don't think I've ever been more emotionally invested in a couple. Everything they do together is too cute and every moment between them is earned.

haha I watched the first few minutes of episode one and the female lead is probably the worst I've ever seen. I've read reviews that said she was desperate but I never expected it to be THAT desperate. I completely agree with the line "an embarrassment to the female gender"

Title Go Ahead
Liked it a lot, almost loved it but not as hyped as people here seem to be. It was boring when the focus shifted…
Ge can have the same connotation as Oppa but I feel like Jian Jian was still referring to at least He Zi Qiu as brother.

Since the drama is coming to an end, I feel like the writers just wasted potential on Episode 21 with a cliche…
I was personally okay with it lol. For one, I liked Wen Bing's confession here a lot more than ep 20 because it was a lot more emotional and heartfelt. Also, the conflict forced both Sang Tian and Wen Bing to expose all their secrets to each other and potential hidden agendas and in some way kick started the relationship? Also, it was really cute when Wen Bing found out about his mother's plan and just completely understood Sang Tian without her having to explain, really showcasing how much they understand each other. So in some way, the conflict is kinda necessary to actually test their relationship. Haha, maybe it's because I knew this plotline was coming from a mile away that I'm okay with it since it was in the trailer but they actually handled this cliche pretty well in my opinion, it only lasted for an episode. This is also just something I tend to notice, but when a drama begins the fluff way too early (especially for a romcom) a lot of the time it feels like the drama is losing steam/story and doesn't know where to go. We still have 2 episodes left for fluff though so there's still a lot of moments!
