I'll be honest-- I never really found him super attractive and I watched his past dramas moreso for the female leads😅 but OH MAN something has changed this past week, it's like im possessed lol He is so manly and just so attractive, SO SO different from the typical skinny boy in cdramas. I love his height, his build, his HANDS 🥵 and even his arm hair lmao. Honestly, I love that he chose to keep his body hair, in a country where perfection=flawless skin, including body hair. No shade to others, just really love seeing someone who isn't afraid to just keep the hair on his arms or on his underarms.
the writers must know how well our ML suits that era. The drama is modern based, but they play a virtual reality roleplaying murder mystery game several times, and the setting is the Republican era. Hence the many beautiful costumes.

I love Neo but their off-screen chemistry just was not hitting. Whether it was bc he was nervous or didn't want his fanbase to criticize them, him constantly avoiding eye contact with her did not sit well with me. Their drama was good though, moreso in the first half. I see them more as friends or even siblings bc they're both so pretty lol

The chemistry is good, not the best yet tbh, BUT they just look SO GOOD together. I love how she has the natural beauty and he has the harder-looking face that softens, and can I just say I've been getting sick of skinny male actors in China so seeing someone with a good build is AMAZING. bravo, I thought my all-time fav would be her with WangXingYue but I have been debunked! 💓 cannot wait for them to get together.

literally 11 minutes in and im already HOOKED. Ready Player One was a movie using virtual reality and I LOVED it, and this drama is already giving me the same action-packed adventure/sci-fi theme I rarely see and enjoy in media. I only watched like two minutes of the whole game aspect so Idk the specs but the overall concept is already so interesting, it reminds me of a high-end escape room. I wonder how hard it would be to actually create this bc I would want to do this every other week.

Communist countries like China always have some sort of nationalist pride to an extreme in their media... I agree though, I really find it boring and so unnecessary whenever there's a good plot but random "China will dominate" things thrown in. Like Go Go Squid (not as much) and You Are My Glory (also a LOT). I just skip through every part and get to the main story.
