no this was so fun I'd love to explain anything you want to know hahaha
so it's kind of a surprise, even though there were some hints here and there, we find out as the audience when she reveals the truth to the younger brother after he confronts her. So basically he trusts her from the beginning, but then she sort of uses him, and then his family manipulates the situation to make it seem like SHE orchestrated the car crash (doesn't rlly make sense bc she nearly died lol) so he goes up to her like he's no longer a friend, asking her what REALLY happened during their honeymoon. She tries to brush it off, but eventually tells him that the truth he wanted to know SO BADLY was that his brother was the one who tried to kill her, not the other way around. And he hated his younger brother, even to get him into sports so that he wouldn't be interested in the family business. This shocks him ofc bc now he knows his whole family including the brother he looked up to, was evil against the one woman he fell for but refused to acknowledge out of respect for his family.
I'm sorry I can't check the episode right now, but it was almost right before they officially get together. Man, I think I might rewatch hahahah their little gestures and eye contact were sooo cute. ask me anything else HAHAHA
finally a drama where both lead time travel or transmigrate to past together
BUT every single time travel cdrama ive watched has a terrible ending... so I think im going to wait for this to end and find out if its a HE before I start :(
ML fall in love with the FL....oh nice..she is so pretty...but wait .. she is the wife of his (dead) brother.....…
irl it is quite weird, unless you're religious, but in the drama it's not really weird for some reason. and it actually gets quite justified and makes more sense once some truths come to light about the ex-husband
From the bits and pieces that I’ve watched it seemed he tricked her into marriage initially? Did they have a…
so we find out he tricked her with his family to steal her fortune, since he was already in love with someone else and even had a son. but in the last episode we find out even further that though he conspired with his family, he didn't intend to actually kill her-- he was going to fake her death. His family was watching his every move so he had no choice but to play along. Unfortunately his father wanted his son to kill her and then kill his son to bury the secret, which we find out at the end. I'm sad you're dropping it, this was my fav modern c drama of the year :(
I read reviews only if they're unbiased like what I write. I watched this series for the Ml but the FL was definitely…
yeah I noticed that too... reviews can get so volatile bc people's opinions change so quickly based on what the masses are saying :/ but still would hope for a show I enjoy, this one, to have a higher rating simply so others can watch and enjoy it as much as I did
Yo this is so good. Really a prime example of not trusting reviews-- it had me hooked from the opening scene. The cast is great, I love the leads-- strong independent FL and softie ML who sees her at her softer side when she lets her guard down. IRL the idea of being in a romantic relationship with an in-law mortifying but in this case I honestly do not care hahahaha
Very light, easy watch. Even the plot twist and deeper company issues were settled pretty quickly. But I must say the second FL was a lot more charismatic-- super cute and strong headed, but knows what she wants and fights for it. Sad she isn't in more dramas
wow such a quick watch. I skipped through some but still liked the leads together, hahaha sometimes you just need something quick :) glad it's getting some more recognition with Cheng Lei being so popular.
What a beautiful drama, both physically and plot-wise. The main compliment would have to be that their chemistry was honestly top-notch, and I've watched hundreds of dramas. Top 10% without a doubt. And now for the withdrawal symptoms 🥲 what now
i liked the episode but it just didn't feel like an ending cause every episode they ended up with a heartfelt…
Bro the product placement was so annoying. Like one or two kopiko or kahi is fine bc they’re so common but the randomest ones with dialogue that just did not flow 🤦🏻♀️

And is romance a big part of the drama?
