really REALLY want to start this bc I had no idea our leads reunited for a second and third drama! eek GoGoSquid was literally one of my first cdramas, and LiXian was such a charismatic character. I just need to know how the pacing is bc the high reviews already have my expectations high, which is usually my downfall for dropping dramas that don't meet my standards.
things I hate are: villains who always always win, people always dying lol, FL and ML NOT getting together fast enough, and a terrible emperor. I love fluff but I know these types of dramas usually aren't fluffy but is it overly serious?
Heavenly grief (poison) and Golden millet dream (antidote) consider them as coming in one set which need to be…
ok that makes sense too but what happened to JBZ specifically? He was poisoned, but did he take the antidote? He occasionally has pain in his wrist so is it the heavenly grief? but then how does he fight all the time without hurting-- I'm so confused
my understanding is that the poison creates the spiritual veins when a person doesn’t have and destroys it if…
so after watching today's episode I see that JBZ was in fact poisoned. but did he heal? or does he still suffer from it, hence his occasional pain on his wrist? but that's confusing too bc he had the antidote the whole time...
Can someone please explain Heavenly Grief and Golden Millet Dream? All I know is it’s a poison and the cure, but how does it relate to spiritual veins? And when JBZ was in the Sunken Abyss, did he succeed in replicating it? How does he relate to them, besides the fact that his master invented them from her clan?
I finished all 21 episodes in one sitting. Can’t believe I was sleeping on this. I saw some people complaining…
ok you have convinced me to watch this. can I ask what role Zhuang Yan plays? Bc I like him a lot as an actor rn but don't want him to face the sad love triangle :(
is that just a happy/funny scene
