Reviews are always extremely biased and not a real representation of how you might perceive the show. Maybe you can give the first episode a try and see from there? I'm personally someone in the middle-- some things I liked and some things I didn't. But I think that's normal and preference is a BIG factor so I definitely wouldn't judge by reviews alone, especially since this LITERALLY just ended so a LOT of people have VERY mixed feelings.

Conveniently on Netflix but I was SO SHOCKED at how sexual this is— I’ve never ever seen Chinese dramas that are mature rating. Is it bc this is technically Taiwanese and the censorship is different? Or bc it’s Netflix?? Seriously was not expecting the TV-MA content…
Looks interesting , and I like the leads despite the female’s refusal to film certain scenes. It’s just that I saw some clips and the dubbing looks terrible… is the whole thing dubbed..? I know most cdramas are to a degree but it’s really a let down if it’s too obvious:(
