ugh he's so hot when he's protective but such a gaslighting ass when he isn't. can they release all episodes at once hahaha I'm getting ahead of myself and just watching the teasers for the next four episodes in advanced lol
I;m so sorry but they realllyyyyy shouldn't have filmed the 2FL from the side. Her witch-like nose is so prominent that's all I could focus on whenever they showed her side profile. Like in the serious conversations...
So this is pretty fun but my blood pressure is so high because the whole time I'm nervous about her getting caught! Why is it that in every episode something happens that makes me feel like something's going to happen. D;
From the bits and pieces that I’ve watched it seemed he tricked her into marriage initially? Did they have a…
hahaha im pretty sure the first one was not official bc the family didn't even know about it and if he was already married he wouldn't be able to marry Haimeng you know? Anyways I loved this. ignored all the small issues. Will def rewatch soon.
So I like that it's a remake of a kdrama I enjoyed, but I think it could've been a LOT shorter. Making it 40 episodes, the couples just repeated their problems over and over. Our main leads constantly argued about his past, only for him to reassure her, and then something else makes her suspicious and the cycle continues. Our second leads also had this problem. He rejects her, she says she'll move on but she comes right back like the psycho she is lol like girl no man is worth your tears over and over again. And the cycle continues for them too! Anyways, started strong ish but definitely falling flat a little past the halfway mark.

I mean, every drama has its plot holes. My take was that the first relationship wasn't legally binding, as in they were together and had a child but never registered their marriage. I honestly didn't mind that, the only thing I really had questions about was when Siyu was revealed to be the beneficiary of the marital possessions, why does that give the Lu family the right to all the property and not Siyu himself. He's an adult. Even if he was given ownership of the company or whatever, that's different than the family owning it all.
