I tried watching season 1. I meant to comment this for s1 but accidentally posted here. I saw the comments about how the show is self aware but I do not think so. Yes they address some of the sus behaviors with humor but at the end of the day there is on screen kissing, secret "relationship", inappropriate physical contact. A suicidal teen is as vulnerable as it gets and getting into a relationship with a teacher is not the way to deal with it. I admit this show is funny at times, the visuals of the actors are stunning and it is ok to enjoy contents like this as long as we can call it what it actually is. There is definitely problematic depiction of romance between an adult in a position of authority and a vulnerable teen.
