2. Beyond smart not so human - yet. He has to learn these skills. Still being/acting human is the ultimate trick up his sleeve, its part of his game.. And, he is beyond smart, he is calculating at a deep smart no human necessary level - just the gears and mechanisms.

A. The 师父's arm tattoo. Watched it 10 times and still can not figure out what it is and what it might mean.

B. The Benefactor is not one person. Bodies do not match, energies do not match, and hands do not match.

C. How did the Benefactor know where to find the boy after his parents were killed? No hesitation. Went right to him. Was it someone at the killing? Like Zhuang Lu Yin's guard?

D. The ultimate skill - learn how to 'lie when you are being most sincere'. Lie so well you can fool yourself while doing it. ML has that down. He is yet to be human. He is like a machine. He himself will get played and move towards being human - my guess is 3/4+ of the way through the drama.

E. The 3-piece token leads to the command of a ginormous army and more power than any state has ever known. War(s) and/or miliary conflect must be a part of this. Why were the pieces separated in the first place?

F. The zombies in the tomb (Ep. 1) - who what why? Robots?

Possible Puzzle Pieces - Where the heck is PeachBlossomGoddess when you need a better than good opinion? Nevermind. Let me try.

Step Away - Not the only one here whos said it. My work is suffering and even my sleep is allocating time - its been a long CDrama draught and I am just too darn thirsty. Got a drink of the good stuff with Demon Killer Romance (bless the writer & director), a couple of quality box wine romantic weekend binges with Prisoner of Beauty (writing and acting high fives) and now, here we go, on to the hard stuff on ice - Legend of ZH. Oh, and throw in XZ's new wuxia wow bod and I am all gone. Never mix hard with hard (or so 'they' say). Back at the final episodes dump for one big gigantic do not hold me back binge.

Deep breath. Just keep watching. It will come right - or wrong in due course. 😄 My vote? He is the player who is going to get played. Not for a while though.

Usually I would agree with you. Though, for me its immediately glaring due to the other acting going on around her - from the very first scene. Willing to let it progress and see if my opionion changes.
