Please, if you have any doubts about watching this - set them aside. It starts slow and then wowy wow. At least for now - Ep. 7 & 8 alone are worth the watch. And, there is no comparison between this drama and Prisoner of Beauty. No comparison whatsoever. They are both worth watching.

In this case, its a male driven story appropriate for the history of the drama. Not happy about it but can live with it.

I spoke to soon. Though the first 6 episodes where almost too slow of a build, Ep 7 was nearly Nirvana on Fire level excellence. What an adventure. And, so heartbreakingly satisfying. If this episode alone was just a movie it would have been a blockbuster. End of. Hope to see at least a few more episodes like this and I will be beyond satisfied. It 100% does not belong at 8.0. Sometimes I really really dislike the dramaland world. Unjust and petty.

This is just not true. I am genuinely dissapointed that I do not like this drama more and am trying to sus out why. I am a die hard, love him forever, Xiao Zhan fan/fanatic. The handsomest man in the universe. Literally. I want to be feeling it and hopefully I will as the drama progresses though its understood that it can not always be all good all the time - does not mean I am not going to watch him.

Darn, I am just not feeling it. Its all been done before and the drama is all a bit stale. Was not loving the squid game element - why didn't the men jump up when the leg wire came? Nevermind. Gonna keep watching and see what happens.
