The cousin is an interesting study. Not sure why the actor is getting so much grief for playing him. What catches me is the depth of the character. When you think the cousin is drunk he shifts into crystal clear speech when necessary. When you think he is paying no attention he is laser-like with his observations and actions. The cousin is a tragic character within a character within a character - kudos to the writer and the actor.
Struck by LYN's vampire-like smooth hands in bath scene 2. Still wondering if his thumbs match in bath scene 1 or if its a body double? This character/actor is enchanting. Oh my.
So...Did we have the first kiss yet? Some development?
Apparently there is no kiss. Fingers crossed that is not true. Too much chemistry between the leads to miss such an opportunity. Please let there be a kiss. 😅

Understandable these scenes can be triggering. Trying to contextualize the events historically (per amanah's comment) and the intent/circumstance presented in the drama. IMO he did not sexually abuse her - in fact he stopped himself. Its what the drug was meant for and the mother dosed him up. Unfortunately, in the real world these events were the norm throughout history.
Will watch it in few hours, but feel free to spoil it? Did they do it? Or they didnt and that was a teaser? (Ep10/11)

I wonder how the drama tracks with the novel everytime he says something about not being effected by her beauty? Or, not to try to use it against him. Its a referrence to his lusting after her no? A fill in for an 18+ sections of the book. Or when he was reflecting on the tear drip on the neck moment.

Not usually a fan of LYN. He has his talents to be certain. Just found him a bit too far down the sprectrum to not be mildly annoyed. In this drama though, he seems to have found a home - this character is him and vis versa and he is making it work magnificently. LUV.
Remember him in The Long Ballad - his hey wait a minute who is this guy moment? He came across like a singer unsure of his own ability to act and it worked wonders with his character.
Remember him in Eternal Brotherhood - when he made it onto the very bottom of the 'yes, I guess I would let him throw me around' list?
Remember him in A Journey to Love - when he made it onto the might be a real actor list (and the music is still good)? Until the drama fell apart and I was no longer certain who could and/or could not act/write/direct/produce (whatever).
