BUT I'm so relieved that Solhee's ability came back, even though she decided not to use it anymore. It's kinda bittersweet, I'm sad that she's not working on her business, but I'm happy that she finally found peace and love in her life.
It's been heartwarming how Solhee and Doha are always on each other's side - trusting each other, getting stronger and being more affectionate. They went through a lot and worked together to overcome their own problems. They found the right person and I'm happy that they will get married. This drama highlights the importance of communication, trust and honesty. Solhee and Doha really showed what a healthy relationship should be. It's been so wonderful to see the journey of this wholesome couple with their pure love. They're definitely one of best couples in kdramaland!
The top review is already baseless just by the title. Why can't people just accept that everyone has different tastes and preferences? It's normal that you'll find something you dislike while other people like it. But there's people who just want to act superior and it's annoying when they try hard to belittle the drama and compare it to different dramas just to make a point why it's bad.
This drama is obviously not a masterpiece or perfect. But it's still a good drama that a lot of people simply love and enjoy. This is more on romcom and it's targeted for viewers who want to see a healthy couple who are green flag to each other. Even if there's a murder mystery, it's not dark and they still maintain the stable romance along it. Overall this drama is lighthearted.
Those people saying the "main leads has no chemistry" are just people who don't like the actor but wants to dragged it into their chemistry. I've noticed how much people hate Hwang Min Hyun. I don't really care about him, but he's not that bad. Honestly, he's not an amazing actor, but he still did a good job for portraying a reserved, awkward, anxious guy. His character is built that way but other people just refuse to understand that.
One alone positive (ofcourse matthew is not fully positive) char cant move forward revenge plot at all, they absolutely needs some partners not from supporting chars but from main lead cast so i wonder who will join hands with him in later part of storyline?? Except Dohyuk none of other char comes into mind.
If matthew lee cleverly uses Min Dohyuk (Wrath) then it can work very well in favour of revenge plan.
Till now just like others Dohyuk hasnt committed very grave sin, it was only mistake from his side to go to her school & create scene but others had alr started committing very grave sin, whether its GRH, Mone, Yang Jin mo, Cha jooran or teacher lady. And detective guy will only adds to it.
Even their main drama poster was creative, with SSR in the color red (representing an angry goddess), CSJ in purple (symbolizing pure evil), and OYH depicted with a mixture of both colors, purple and red, indicating she represents humans with grey nature.

Now, she's returned with "7 Deadly Sins," where each main character represents one of the deadly sins:
Geum Ra Hee: Pride
Min Do Hyuk: Wrath
Han Mone: Envy
Yang Jin Mo: Lust
Cha Joo Ran: Greed
Go Myung Ji: Gluttony (perhaps)
Nam Chul Joo: Sloth (as a detective, he likely represents sloth)
Even if you examine the show's intros, they are incredibly creative. In Penthouse, the intros concealed the entire plot, and if you observe them carefully, you can understand the whole storyline in detail. They also tweaked the intro slightly each season to show how characters and their fates changed over the seasons.
Similarly, in this new drama, you'll find plenty of details in the intro alone. One thing I've noticed so far is that Yang Jin Mo holds a snake in his hand, symbolizing that he will be the biggest betrayer in the drama, while in the intro, there is blood on Mone's skirt, representing her giving birth in the first episode.
You do not like my comments even if they are based on what we see of the character. You wish I would be a sheep to follow the general opinion on that character and since I don't, it spoils your own pleasure. Well sorry not everyone has to share your opinion and comply with the tyranny of the majority. I dare say he needs more maturity and intelligence. Me expecting character development from him is my way to love him. I want him to become as cool as his father and even better.
If people with different opinions annoy you, nobody forces you to read them.
Back story and flash back for the main characters are fine, but a 30 min flashback for the teacher?
Right in the middle of a tense build up at the school? It really disrupts the pace and it is so unnecessary. Similarly Ep 14 was not needed, and not much happening in Ep 15.
I wonder if the odd episode length and occasional random episode ending without a cliff hanger is related to the fact that this was originally a JTBC production, and probably had 16 episodes in mind. The Disney take-over probably forced the team to make it a 20 episodes with these shortened episodes.
1. This is the first time I am watching him in a drama. I had high expectation given the premise of this drama and while I know the FL, Kim So Hyun has made her mark in the industry, I wanted to see how the ML would be.
2. Initially when the show trailer came out - I thought he might be another pretty face, like so many idol-turned-actors. While I like to fangirl for handsome actors/idols, I keep their acting prowess (or lack of it) separate and try my best not to be biased (success rate: 95%)
3. As the drama started - till now (Ep 12-13) Hwang Min Hyun's acting has not been earth-shattering good nor has it been a cardboard cutout presence either. Somewhere in between, decent and will not make you cringe or jump with joy.
4. In fact what I liked in this drama is - that he keeps the lost boy, shy, insecure, scared look quite well as his role demands. One can almost empathize with him as he feels guilty about hurting others around him because of his past, and you can see him struggle.
P.S This is so cause I discovered his episode of I Live Alone and realized that he definitely is different IRL and emotes on a different level there. So cardboard acting can be ruled out.
Not that I am insanely impressed by him, but wanted to write this out cause even today there are still very few good idol-turned-actors. Most get signed on projects cause of their popularity, even winning awards due to it, than their acting. So those who are at least good or trying should be talked about - is what I feel.
Hwang Min Hyun is definitely someone who looks good onscreen and is not terrible at acting. Excited to see him shape up in future as he hones his acting skills and we get to see him in more projects!
