Great first 2 episodes. Right amount of fun and also mystery/intrigue about characters. And the boss character of FL is not a stick in the mud like it seemed initially, she's quite mischievous.
Watched this for Kim Seon Ho. I'm glad I haven't watched season 1 because I absolutely love this show and I guess it's because all the gags were new to me. It was same for the person who watched with me. They said it was 10/10 for them because of Kim Seon Ho and the comedy.
If you watched on Netflix, there is a second set of English subtitles that are way better. Same thing happened…
I knew the translations were off when the ML says to SFL "You leave first" because I know simple words by know and the translation says "Mu-hee is here". I was like "Dafuq!".

You should. That episode 6 end scene was so confusing without the accurate subs. Her rejection was saying:
"The person you like is finally single and you don't have to grab onto someone to avoid her. I feel like a fool trying to make you fall for me." And a bunch of other things where she assumes he doesn't like her and the fact that she keeps getting swayed by her Alter Ego. He says "I am sorry if I made you feel like a fool, I sorted my feelings and told them to Ji-sun. You are right, we should stop here" She asks, "how did it go" and he says "Why should I tell you? given where we are at now. I wanted to go along with you when you cried, laughed and wore your heart on your sleeves and I wanted to take care of you but I realize I was being swayed swayed by your emotions" Then she brushes it off by saying, "This is exactly like the day at the train crossing where I told you to go after her. Just like that day, Good Bye" That's where my favorite dialogue by ML happens "Don't brush it off like all of this was nothing, I feel very wronged. I was getting ready to cross the street, to the person I liked" Meaning crossing the road towards her. Her entire expression shifts and she realizes that she F'd up and he says the parting words "You sure Do-rami was wrong and you won? I hope that's the case, I did say I'd root for you."
Then promise plays as he crosses the road away from her and my heart breaks...

There are two sets of English subs on Netflix. Just choose the other one and watch that scene again. You will get it. I'd say rewatch the whole thing with those subs. I ended up watching it twice more cuz of that.
This drama is a rare gem. I totally did not see the surrealist twist coming and that’s what hooked me. Kdramas…
If you watched on Netflix, there is a second set of English subtitles that are way better. Same thing happened to me on the first watch. 2nd watch elevated the show from 9 to a 10 because dialogues made so much more sense...especially the Final scene in Ep 6 where Cha Mu Hee runs away after seeing Jo Hu Jin and Shin Ji Sun together in book store.
Thank God someone hav great choice and understand real thrillYeah bruhh it was my fav Nam koong min's hidden gem…
I am his big Fan too, I am currently watching Good Manager with my mate who isn't into K-dramas. He got so into it yesterday he made me watch 4 episodes even though we usually watch only 1 or 2 max. As for Kocowa, we don't have it in Australia I believe. I might get Viki Pass again, we have that for Asian Dramas.

I have even watched Secret Hotel from 2014 and Remember 2015 where he played an excellent Villain. The only dramas of his I watched that I couldn't get into were Undateables and Distorted. Yet to try Awaken and Veil and that's just because I am usually not into Monster stuff in Awaken and Veil is not on any of the OTT I own (Prime, Disney, Netflix)
I’m surprised to see so much criticism of her acting when she did the same kind of performance many female actors…
I think she did a decent job. She did the comedy scenes well enough but the Issue is that she doesn't have facial acting down yet and her voice inflections are off in emotional/intense scenes.
The biggest issue is that she struggles to convey emotions through her eyes and subtle facial ques. I would give an example of Go Youn Jung in "Can This Love Be translated?" That is a similar romcom but Go Youn Jung elevates the show with her performance. She can alter between two personalities with just a change in her expression. So yes, if JISOO could act better this Drama would have been better. Also, to say that she didn't have ANY chemistry would also be wrong. Yes, her chemistry with AI co-stars wasn't awe-inspiring but her chemistry with SIG was definitely good. Now how much was that SIG carrying her or her doing a better job I don't know.
Exactly my take from this. People expected way too much from a Ro-Co story wise. Base story was simple but production…
Nailed it on the head with superficial roles. This Drama was more FL centric and it was enjoyable for what it was. Still surprised SIG took this role though.
SIG is usually very careful in selecting his roles that either test his acting range or come with amazing scripts. DAYS, Smile has Left your Eyes, Cafe Minamdang, Squad 38, Hello Monster, Shopping King Louis, Death Game but his last two roles felt more like he did it for others. Twelve he did for Ma Dong Seok and this felt like he did for his agency lol. Excited for See you at Work Tomorrow though, webtoon was amazing.

Yeah that's the point, Park Bo Young is so good that she was able to carry the story in DAYS the first half. However, because they gave the same responsibility to JISOO in the first half of this show, it became really hard to stay invested in her AI adventures till Ep 5 as the novelty wore out by Ep 3. Only when SIG's character got more screentime by Ep 6 did I start to enjoy the show again. The moment of Yeong Il's creation where I called it being SIG and it actually turning out to be him was the most epic moment in the show for me.

Exactly, in "Can this Love be Translated?" you see the male lead has a similar no-nonsense mature personality but it is allowed to develop as you see how he was brought up, how he treats his brother and his other relationships to get a sense for his demeanor surrounding the FL. In this, it just felt like they gave In Guk a character to play, which he did admirably, but without any thoughts put into developing the character motivations.
