another drama ruined by Seo In Guk's mediocre face. korea has no actors left?
Bro I am a straight dude who found is looks and acting charming in Music video and I watched a K drama for the first time because of him. So I don't know where you are coming from. Even then, everyone can have their looks preferences but you can't deny he is a top tier actor.
Wow some of the Ageist comments here are insane. It's a beautiful drama. 9.5/10. It's been a while since I saw something that hit me deep this emotionally from a K-drama.
I'm really tempeted by this drama but .. 16 episodes makes have some doubt .. Is its pacing good? Worth it ?
It's worth it. It's a slow burn with a lot of subtext and multiple layers. If you are the impatient sort I would advise against watching. However, if you want amazing production and OST, beautifully written characters, Deep Emotional story telling and a mature vibe, then go for it.
What a breath of fresh air. The show isn't dragging the ML and FL growing feelings like a typical drama till the 8-10 episode so you know that it is going to be lot about the office politics, the teams under the department, FL past and how the 2nd ML ties into the story with the conglomerate power struggle. Just 4 episodes in and most of the key plotlines are kept under wrap while also progressing the story in a major way. Been a while since a show hooked me weekly. Usually I can only binge K-drama or I lose interest waiting for the episodes.
Great first 2 episodes. Right amount of fun and also mystery/intrigue about characters. And the boss character of FL is not a stick in the mud like it seemed initially, she's quite mischievous.
Watched this for Kim Seon Ho. I'm glad I haven't watched season 1 because I absolutely love this show and I guess it's because all the gags were new to me. It was same for the person who watched with me. They said it was 10/10 for them because of Kim Seon Ho and the comedy.
If you watched on Netflix, there is a second set of English subtitles that are way better. Same thing happened…
I knew the translations were off when the ML says to SFL "You leave first" because I know simple words by know and the translation says "Mu-hee is here". I was like "Dafuq!".

You should. That episode 6 end scene was so confusing without the accurate subs. Her rejection was saying:
"The person you like is finally single and you don't have to grab onto someone to avoid her. I feel like a fool trying to make you fall for me." And a bunch of other things where she assumes he doesn't like her and the fact that she keeps getting swayed by her Alter Ego. He says "I am sorry if I made you feel like a fool, I sorted my feelings and told them to Ji-sun. You are right, we should stop here" She asks, "how did it go" and he says "Why should I tell you? given where we are at now. I wanted to go along with you when you cried, laughed and wore your heart on your sleeves and I wanted to take care of you but I realize I was being swayed swayed by your emotions" Then she brushes it off by saying, "This is exactly like the day at the train crossing where I told you to go after her. Just like that day, Good Bye" That's where my favorite dialogue by ML happens "Don't brush it off like all of this was nothing, I feel very wronged. I was getting ready to cross the street, to the person I liked" Meaning crossing the road towards her. Her entire expression shifts and she realizes that she F'd up and he says the parting words "You sure Do-rami was wrong and you won? I hope that's the case, I did say I'd root for you."
Then promise plays as he crosses the road away from her and my heart breaks...
