There are some valid criticism as well for this drama. We discussed and complained same things here. Like LYX makeup occasionally cakey , choppy editing and excessive blood spit that borderline meme. It also have so many cliche samey old xianxia things. TSL is way smoother and unique in comparison.

But well I also can't deny about review bomb . It same thing everywhere. It is respective website moderators job to remove invalid reviews.

Super Mario Bros movie is successful but news about it is just critics trashing it. People just think too much. TTEOTM still a xianxia idol drama that aimed for teenager and young demographic. Usually such popular teenager show/movie always guarantee attract some haters. See Harry Potter and Twilight.

IMO this drama indeed filmed for 60 ep. Because it is condensed so hard, the cough blood scenes also become happening so often. Nearly all important moments have characters hurt and bleeding. If we have 20 ep more, we will have more chill moments, filler stuffs without them coughing blood. It will be more spread out.

LSS never love him. Even in her inner monologue, she never say she love him or wanted to meet him.
