Douban is just equivalent to Reddit or something. It is mainstream web unlike MDL and lot of anonymous haters on Douban. People that watch the show and liking it usually don't vote the show on Douban but the haters will review bomb it. MDL is more specific. People come here to enjoying the show hence why it is more forgiving. Viki also really forgiving.
