Yes, YY take Zhi Xi over Yan dan. In Novel, YY liked Zhi Xi more than YD. Zhi Xi is obedient and have good temperament while YD is complete opposite. Author wanted YD ended with Yumo, hence why she/he writing YY in such way. YD love over YY is completely onesided.
But in drama, YY is love interest of YD so they change it. I just curious with how they gonna reverse it.

I agree that just silly part of novel. But I think it safe to assume in novel, Yan Dan and Zhixi is really similar in appearance and voice. But in drama, YZ and MZY are so different. No one can buy YY mistaken them.

Ying Yuan is total jerk in novel. Yan Dan love is completely one sided. Hence why she ended with Yu Mo but kinda bitter sweet. Because she not really love Yu Mo but accept him just to pay him back.
