Yes, YY take Zhi Xi over Yan dan. In Novel, YY liked Zhi Xi more than YD. Zhi Xi is obedient and have good temperament while YD is complete opposite. Author wanted YD ended with Yumo, hence why she/he writing YY in such way. YD love over YY is completely onesided.

But in drama, YY is love interest of YD so they change it. I just curious with how they gonna reverse it.

Can't wait for Mortal world arc. YY seems naturally kind heart but mischievous equal to Yan Dan but cause he is Sovereign Lord, he need to restrain. YD and TZ gonna be more chaotic and flirtatious.
