i do really hope so too. i hope the script gives justice to her acting versatility. she’s such a good talent…
She usually play protagonist role. But lot of her drama were flop and her career simply tank. Thus she somehow take less risk and took villain or support role before attempting again lead role.
For me this drama is masterpiece like The Double. FL and her mother pretty much highlight of the drama. I glad no romance that hampering storyline, FL and ML just do their things. They have each other back. Also Hanyan bring flintlock was wild as hell.
Believe it or not, she is the richest actor/celeb in Asia with massive 1 billion USD networth. Heck she even number #3 richest actress in the world. For comparison, Hollywood sweetheart Scarlet Johansson only worth $100 million.
I don't know what happen to her but I guess some dispute over her asset. I always had speculation, she still working behind the scene on entertainment industry uncredited. Probably funding some dramas/movies.
How they can wrap this up with only five episodes left? Drama still have lot of holes left especially politic stuff, romance also still do not exist at this point. FL is so fixated and so unhinged, it is so unbelievable she can fall in love with ML with just short period.
I still hope at the end they will provide a sensible message about love and revenge.

Legend of Female General rumored to air after this. Same writer. Overall similar plotline about revenge but the difference is FL was gender disguise Military General like " Mulan" .
