Plot twist, Xiao Yao's mom is not died. She live secluded somewhere because she have cursed power and don't want hurt anyone.

Okay here is summary if you came from LYF and just curious :

- Chenrong and Xiyan is in war. Haoling Kingdom is neutral in this conflict but both Chengrong and Xiyan don't want offend Haoling and drag them into war.
- Chi Chen The Demon General is Xiao Yao's dad. Xiao Yao's mom is third Princess of Xiyan. Their relationship is underground, few people knew their relationship. Not even Xiyan King or royal family members know it.

- Chi Chen is typical hero. Powerful, clear headed with strong sense of justice. He do not like money or wealth. Just rather live in his modest hut and just enjoying simple life.

-Xy's mom married Haoling King ( at that time Haoling Prince) for political alliance. Haoling King knew Xiao Yao is Chi Chens daughter but he promised to take care of her like his own daughter.
- Youth flower on Xiao Yao's forehead sealed by her mom. Youth flower only appears when there is strong kinship. So another clue which person Xiao Yao's loves or when she don't care. The purpose of it so Xiao Yao's mom can find their daughter if separated.

-XY's mom once died and she revived by demonized herself. From this, she develop a powerful cursed power.

-Fox tail is a gift from Xao Yao's dad instead her mother. He is the one beat the Fox. Nine tailed demon Fox tortured Xiao Yao for revenge against her dad as we know.

- Xy's mom have strong firebird beast companion, Sunflare. She trusted Xiao Yao to her. But Xiao Yao escaped from Mt Jade and Sunflare probably lost her as well. Kinda hope she appears in LYF but I don't think that gonna happen.

- Madam Yu of Mt Jade is mentor of so many characters including XY's parents. She have power to become young if she want to. But she do not do it anymore cause no one appreciate her beauty.
- Xiao Yao's mom had two older brothers. Yuncheng and Changzou. Yucheng was capable and protective of all his siblings. Changzou is soft and kind like Jing. Sadly both died fought Chenrong. If not, Xuan and Xiao Yao should have an amazing 1st and 2nd uncle.

- Chenrong ruled not by king but woman, Royal Princess Yun Sang and she is close friend of both Xiao Yao's parents. Yun Sang had a younger brother that become a King but he do not last long , he died in war against Xiyan. Thus left her to lead a country with help from Chi Chen.

- Xiang Lu's adoptive father had a beef with both Chi Chen and Princess Yun Sang.

- Chenrong was chaotic with many clan fight for power. Chi Chen was an outsider but he become main general invoked jealousy from so many people.

- Chengrong noble house responsible for tarnished Chi Chen reputation.

- Chi Chen died on the battle field but Xiao Yao's mom live. But because she burden a cursed power from demonized herself, she have no choice to live hidden somewhere so she don't hurt anyone.

- Royal Princess Yun Sang kill herself after Chenrong lost war against Xiyan. Than Xiyan absorbed Chenrong as we know in LYF.

Surprising grandpa is my fav character in S2. He was heartless and cold in S1 but now I know what power can do to people. People stop become genuine person once become King.

TSJ and XL have silent respect to each other is cool. Obsessive CX slowly enter villain phase.

Hates all you want but XY only happy with TSJ. She suffered because separation with TSJ.

She indeed looking an alternative with XL but you can see she just not all in with XL. XL knew it very well.

Going to enjoy every min of this drama. It is kind of drama that "I wish I can forget and watch it again. "

Girl rejecting a man because they see a man is just a bro/friend is the most common out there. When girl do not have feeling toward man, they will not catch any hints whatever man throw. Instead it become major annoyance for girl and it can ruin relationship if the man chase further which will be in this drama. Has been there multiple times IRL.

Decent watch , light and nothing too serious. But sadly I need to drop it for Lost You Forever S2 and continue Royal Princess. Probably will pick it up again when nothing to watch.
