It is good drama but if it just 40 episodes it will be better. I enjoyed it when it was airing but upon rewatch, I just realize fillers just way too much especially when it has nothing to do with main characters. I enjoyed Yang Zi visual in this drama than Lost You Forever, she prettier here.

This again with inconsistency complaint. Cai Wei need to pretend to be SGZ. So technically SGZ is both Cai Wei and SGZ. Cai Wei as character remains same. She love with detective work and have high forensic skill. Nothing inconsistent about her.

She also have lil bit of self esteem especially her relationship with Pan Yue and it always been consistent like that.

At least it not visible on main cast.

She shaped to be S tier actress. Still not on level as Lusi or Yu Shuxin but it is close to be there.

There is no magic in this drama. Those summon by calling him 17x times is just superstitious but really it about how PY cares and loves her.

Last two episodes are about ML and FL relationship. Investigation is not priority, I think it will be intense on coming episodes.

I don't get why people complaining Cai Wei in SGZ body so different. Then starts slandering JJY, that's so nasty. Remember that Cai Wei pretends to be someone else, SGZ being pretty is her characteristic and Cai Wei needs to keep it. While she had scar but that scar is not her wish.

Every woman wanted to be pretty and powerful, she got what she want. But Cai Wei is righteous person so instead use her money for leisure or enjoying life. She helps investigation and helps man she loved.

I think you forgot that Cai Wei still pretends as someone else. Being pretty is previous SGZ characteristic and she follows her habit.

That's intentional. SGZ do not wearing anything flashy reflect of Cai Wei personality.ML however already extravagant since beginning.

I am not even looking but they are noticeable.

My only gripe is how often hair seam is visible especially at supporting or side character. They should spend time on post production to smooth them digitally.

Everyone focused on cast or whatnot. But cinematography, editing and technical film making are amazing

Yeah, I think people also forget that Cai Wei also need acting as other person.

She do not need doing a dirty job and live on the mansion served by maid. OFC her mannerism somehow changed. But her character overall remains same, she is kind, smart , consider other people's feeling and have little bit low self esteem sometimes.

Haha than they offer express package later which cost you more than monthly subs.

Jing Yi style in this drama is great. I despise her look on so many her previous drama especially when they put crazy trinkets on her head.

Her style in Sword anf Fairy 4 also good, fairy simple yet compliment her facial feature.

Just random thought. If Apothecary Diaries adapted into live action, Lusi is simply the best candidate for Maomao.

I just think those short drama should do something different and unique instead play safe.

I hate misunderstand as well. But so far plot is logical, there is so many uncertain things happening. They have their own reasoning do stuff.
