Sword and Fairy is video game RPG series. It is quite old, first game was 1995. Than it adapted into live action drama.

It is adaptation of old Video game. Plot and writing are definitely something came from 20 years ago. But It is not bad TBH. About CGI, they definitely can do better but it seems Cdrama format make a quality CGI is impossible. Cdrama have really long duration/episodes, short development time and overall lower budget than western counterpart.

TTEOTM is best looking drama but still had some criticism about CGI. Also Luo Yun Xi reported spend his own money to improve production quality.

Ju Jing Yi play tsundere character is such a fresh air. She always play this silent cold character for so long.

Sword and Fairy the one with Xukai and Esther Yu is Sword and Fairy 6.

I bet they going to fix it before uploading more chapter.

I watched all of those. Xu kai always play really similar character, strong and carefree extrovert like you've mentioned. I am not finished Wonderland of Love because I got little bored with his character. Don't get me wrong, Xu Kai is great and play character well. There is nothing wrong with that.

I watching both Sword and Fairy but I am more interested in this one so far.

Yeah. But I bored with Xu Kai typecasting there. He practically play same character on his last three dramas. Esther also play typical typecasting bubbly character.

Yuan and Jing Yi play a quite different characters here.

This drama is Zhenni breakthrough role. It is important for her career.
