Losing his memory twice during part2 was just totally unnecessary.. such a great series with great moments getting drag down by too much exposition. Very interesting fictional historical story.
Such a shame the series didnt follow princess qing story way more since she could easily steal the spotlight from the two main leads.

It does get good but did not have momentum to continue to get even better until part 2. If you like long drawn out dialogues, this is for you.

Dropped after 2 short episode. Enjoy

The whole set, outfit, environment and color is so great in this series. Its more of a historical costume love soap opera. Maybe my expectation was way to high but its definitely not an 8.5

All enjoyable. In my opinion shi xue yi stole the spotlight. Her performance was great with the limited scenes. Im looking forward to seeing more from her in the future.

What a frustrating series. So much potential yet falling short. Even by halfway it was anticlimatic and slow.

The humor is also great especially with the fl.

SOME xl fans are strange passive agressive, delusional haters fetishizing this character. I do enjoy both characters since they are so different with flaws and interesting path.
