really enjoying this one so far from the first 4 episodes. rooting for zhuang han yan to literally do whatever she wants to like... ruin her family for all that she's suffered. curious to see how her dynamic with fu yun xi unfolds! chen du ling showed some great versatility with her character from fangs of fortune, and i'm loving how multifaceted she is in this one too.

i didn't think this show would have me so hooked, but so curious to see how this toxic quad ends in the last two episodes 🫣

bad audio quality and special effects aside, it was an interesting and campy first episode. nice to see mond and looking forward to seeing how his antagonist role plays out! joss's acting was hit or miss for me, sometimes coming off too stiff but other times he felt more in the zone. gawin is very expressive so i always enjoy that. i do find it interesting how tonally different the opening is, especially compared to the trailer. from the opening alone you definitely can't tell the show is about vampires lol. but overall, i'll tune in to the next episodes.
