I think like Enigma05 mentioned below, I'd say keep on going and see for yourself. Everyone has different taste and it just might eb something up your alley. I'm currently on Ep.27 and still enjoy it so far despite some quick changes in the show. I'm sticking through until the end because the mystery part is still keeping me in suspense. Don't worry about others. :)

No problem! I'm at the meat of the story and still enjoy it despite some quick changes. I find it endearing to see Robin and his inner monologues because he already talks a lot. His inner thoughts can be funnier or even more heartfelt than what he truly shows.

It takes a while for his "love at first sight" girl to show up but when she does its no doubt a "lafs" kind of deal. They show butterflies flying around twice to really prove it. haha.

And I think that's the part where she's going to have to learn to be more understanding of. HCF is someone who she clearly knows has a lot of emotional burdens but she's not quite mature enough to be more trusting and understanding. I'm going to assume she hasn't experienced that much emotional burden besides the camera thing since that's all the show is telling us. But that's where she can't fully relate to and understand why CF is having a harder time opening up. I know she wants to have a healthy relationship with him but as I mentioned above, it'll be a lot of work since CF has gone through many problems and will need time to adapt since he's been good at keeping to himself all these years.

He's not sick. I was confused about that too but the show likes to do a lot of inner monologues for Robin's character. I feel like the scene was more of a foreshadow to his love story. It's a love at first sight kind of thing for him when 2FL shows up and definitely many butterflies involved. They actually showed CGI butterflies flying around her when he saw her lol.

No it's ok. I usually love spoilers and can never help myself. Haha. But this time I'm trying not to since mystery is involved. Yes! I was just going to say I'd love to hear more of your take on it once the show ends in a few days here for international viewers.

I've been avoiding some of your posts because I don't want to be spoiled too much but I want to say I've enjoyed reading your posts. The ones I do give in and spoil myself with lol. Helps me relieve the curiosity. I'm so anxious to see how the show turns out now. I feel like the predictable ending is what I'm going to be agreeing with.

Reading all the comments today on the two recent episodes I was a bit worried and thought my opinion would differ but Ep.26 did it for me. What a mess! I agree with most but still feel like I can understand why they are showing us what happened in the last 2 eps. I'm starting to understand why the show is called "lonely monster". I too am one who was excited with the beginning of the show and how they all developed but the underlying tones of mystery that every character was hinting really makes no surprise to me now. It's more than I thought of but this is probably not the route I would like it to go either. We're tuning into what's now becoming the flaws of all the characters.

The characters fast change in attitude in the recent episodes from the beginning is a perfect example of newbies in love. As the show has been hinting at it, all main characters, especially both Male leads have a lot of emotional baggage/trauma that they are carrying. However, they've been running away from it/ trying to protect people from the hurt they experienced therefore causing them to feel a lone in this big world. They haven't had anyone they can really trust to turn to and now that they find their love interests, they're having to learn how to be more open. Which we all know they can't do so easily because of how much they are trying to hide. So I say the biggest issue is TRUST. They aren't fully ready to be open with each other as a group and need these moments we are seeing now to really understand each other. They want to be happy with each other but are being shady. Let's just say they are not all ready to be in relationships. LOL!

Character wise I'd say:
- Sui Yi: As many of you said, her being sulky/whiny isn't much of a problem with me because I guess this is her first "real" relationship so she's showing signs of someone who's trying to figure out how to do this thing called "dating". It's not the best but a normal thing some newbies do. I see she wants to be supportive, trusting, and understanding but it'll be taking a lot of work.
- He Chufeng: He's still the more consistent character. We see his character trying to be more transparent but it's just his guilty conscience and the dang teacher that is ruining everything for him. Seeing him and Robin argue when looking for "Beanbun" had me flustered.
- Robin: "Love at first sight" does not work. He fell for Xiao An so fast and then a week later finds her identity and is now all heartbroken. His head was way too into the clouds to prepare himself for anything that may happen. So I felt bad but couldn't help smh at his behavior. I loved his character too.
- Xiao An: I don't understand her character anymore. I'm still confused why no one is questioning her return to the house. Is there too many other problems going on for them to not care about it? I was excited for her and Robin but now her return has left a bad taste in my mouth...

*Sigh* where is this show even going now? Sorry for the long post/rant. I still enjoy it just frustrated with how much mess is being thrown all at once.

The chemistry of SY and CF don't spark a big "wow" but I do like it in terms of those 2 being awkward and dorky together. But I will agree it definitely improves once CF opens up more.

That's true but I think in reality it would be harder since its someone who you are close too or in CF's case someone he looks up too. It's like ratting out on your best friend.

Agreed! Its a nice hidden gem of a watch. Nothing top-notched but good enough to keep us inching for more.

I feel like CF has a guilty conscience which is keeping him from seeing it. He feels indebted to the person who helped in his darkest times with the conflict of being someone whose good at unlocking locks.

The neighbors are like us the viewers. Shippers from a far! Haha. I kind of feel like Robin and Xiao An might be going faster because Robin is already head over heels for her. But hopefully their story progresses and improves.

Yes! Most excited to see Robin's love story though it seems his will be more of the difficult one. I love how they portrayed his love at first sight concept for us.

Agreed! In the recent episodes with the girl who was in a DV situation with her so-called boyfriend and Robin was standing for her. I just 😍.

Haha. It's the victim here not the culprit. I love how he quickly agreed to get rid of it when Sui Yi mentioned it.

Yes! I don't like the vibe he's giving off. There's definitely some resentment towards HCF. I never considered Mr. Jin but you might be right. He keeps getting mentioned but no show of him yet. There must be something up with him.
