That's what I got from it but those blue eyes are still an uncertainty for me. I was thinking it represents royalty too because a lot of the people seems to back away quickly when they see it. I'll have to admit the shape shifting was kind of funny to see though. It was not what I was expecting seeing him jump like that. 😅

Finished ep.8 and the pacing is still good so far but the politics portion is already giving me a bummer vibe. Hopefully its not too heavily focused on that for a long time. The mystery cases are far more interesting. WenJun's character being a part of the duo is funny. He adds a good balance to the comedy.
I can't stop laughing at her howling!! Keha let her shamelessly announce sweet nothings 😂😂. Looks like we're in for a treat tomorrow with Ep.10 and HanZheng's jealousy being apparent now.

Yes. The ditsy bothers me at times because they're trying to portray her as a smart girl which she is but then she acts ditsy and almost ruins a few plans makes me think otherwise.

That's a good point you make. At the bathhouse scene he's shown as K.O.'ed drunk but for the other times they are questionable. Hopefully more info is revealed and its not the case but that'd be a twist for sure! It'd be nice to know why he's her godfather too.

I've only been able to catch the 1st 4 episodes and I got to say I'm liking this more than I expected. BWJ's acting is definitely improving! His micro expressions are definitely allowing us to see the character of Han Zheng more naturally as the cool and fierce guy. LYT is doing well as the bubbly cute character but I feel its inconsistent as she's ditsier than bubbly at times . Regardless, I like the light start and hope the development continues to grow. Oh, and I need that ending credit song now! Haha.

A few more hours to go! New trailer has me more pumped. Can't wait to see the chemistry!

Is it me or does LYT's voice seem to be changing back and forth from the dubb to her real voice in the trailer?

Same here. I was hoping to see a bit more of the mystery portion but hopefully they will release more trailers to shed a different light on the show. And Yes! I don't like the dubb for BWJ either. I feel as if I can hear his actual voice when watching the trailer and it may even better off that way. The deep voice is throwing it off.
