My thoughts on Cai Zhao's master (this is before watching Ep. 19): He's super good to Zhao Zhao but also constantly reminding her about the demon sect being bad. Knowing that she's fated to be the demoness like her ancestors, I think he wants to use her as revenge to get back at the demon sect for his unrequited love crap. He's training her and making sure she'll always see the demon sect as bad so she can wipe them out.
Yes, I also had the same suspicions then I read a misleading spoiler like "he only wants Cai Zhao's happiness"…
Oh yeah the way he kept on talking and acting was too suspicious for me. It was his body language for me. I hope we're right because it would be a good twist.
Ok. The Mu boys are freaky LOL! Mu Qingyan's ancestor was just as obsessed if not more for Cai Zhao's ancestor. These Luoying girls must have some real special charm.

Qingyan and Yuzhi make me laugh when they try to get under each other's skin. How many private talks are we going to be getting before an actual brawl breaks out? lol
But on a serious note, I understand Yuzhi trying to put Qingyan in his place in regards to his relationship with ZhaoZhao but uh... I think he needs to remember he also has a fiancée back at home. 👀

"Emotionally guessing our way through" that's such a good way to put it. I am enjoying the show but It really does feel like we're supposed to have some prior knowledge.
I'm so excited to see this!! It's definitely something different for ZYR and I can't wait to see how he'll play this role. I've never watched Bao Shangen but their chemistry in all of these promos got me super ecstatic. They look good together.
