I just finished Ep. 2 and it was definitely awesome! The speed run kind of makes me giggle but it was a good sequence.

I can't put my finger on the word for it but the cinematography during the camp scenes is gorgeous. It's like I'm watching a realistic movie.

OMG!!!! YESSSS. Ep. 29 and 30 was amazing. But Ya'll if Xiao Jue wasn't a whole ass proud boyfriend/husband material throughout the entire thing. Every time He Yan spoke or someone praised her they literally cut back to him and this man was her literal hype man. He was all smiles and couldn't be more happy to see her thrive. We love to see it!! 👏👏

I just finished Ep. 27. *sigh* He Rufei is the weakest link. It annoys me to even watch him think he's a clever tricky guy and then constantly run back to cry to Xu Jingfu.

Yes. I totally agree!! I'd take a good battle scene over palace politics any day. I literally had to do a double take on Cheng Lei bc it happened so fast but that was pure gold. They were in such amazing sync.

LMAO. Ok I have to admit, I loved how they both fought but when she started looking for him, my mind was thinking of the same thing. I had to pause for a sec and think, "wait. everyone else is still fighting. Lol."
