Wow! It's so annoying when anti-s do that. This is my 1st time watching Gulf's drama and I think he's doing absolutely great as Khun Phuthanet. His versatility in Ep.7 from anger & disgust to sadness and hurt was well portrayed. I only watched Gina once and that was her debut lakorn with James Ma. If it wasn't for James Ma, I would have dropped it. I think she's definitely improved but I still don't really take a liking to her acting.

This was one of the main things I was worried about with this new series. Khun Chai Tharatorn was not as interesting to me but for the 1st part they did an excellent job laying the foundation of the entire series. It set the tone for the other 4 parts to follow. I'm not quite feeling that with Laorchan.

The bond is definitely what made the entire nation go wild for these 5 Lions of Jutathep.

I don't think it's necessary BUT it is very helpful and can give some better insights and understanding to certain moments they discuss about. For ex) the family dynamics and things that happened in the past like the war in Wiengphukham from 18 years ago.

Romance in Khun Chai Ratchanon, imo, was definitely lacking. Honestly, the route of Laorchan feels a bit similar to KCR. The FL and supporting characters definitely had bigger roles than ML. In a way, I felt like ML was just there to be a catalyst for FL's mission which was to find the Prince of Wiengphukham in the city. They had cute moments but it also didn't help that Bomb, the leading actor, was stiff. Khun Chai Ratchanon was well better received for it's plot twist mystery surrounding Wiengphukham.

I will have to wholeheartedly agree with this comment! As a long time OG fan, the 1st series is super special to me. I watched all 5 parts back to back when it aired in 2013. That 1st episode really disappointed me too. Everything just felt very off and random. I was hoping for a better introduction of the family. At least if not a big party, some type of small reunion would have been fine. The entire family having a dinner together or something. The part where all 5 ML's discussed the letter with Chai Lek & Chai Yai was sweet but also a random way to introduce the 5 new Male leads of the Jutathep boys. The only thing that is keeping me sane is trying to remember that this is "Duangjai TEWAPROM" which means I need to keep my mindset on understanding the perspective of this season. It's supposed to focus on the Tewaprom. But it's hard not to feel sad because they're incorporating the Jutathep family into this. If it was just solely Tewaprom family and the Male leads were non Jutathep, I would have been ok. But they're including 1 of the hugest beloved Thai Lakorn families into it. Of course fans are going to be more hyped to see it for them.

I wish it was all translated into English too. Unfortunately, the OG one isn't translated. At least to my knowledge it's not. I have the complete novel set for the OG series but I can't even read them. 🤣

I think it's definitely a lighter story than the other 4. The author usually writes nice comforting romance novels from what I've heard.

WOW! I read many people saying Duj Apsorn's story is the most dramatic one out of the 5 but I'm glad to hear all of the books are getting sold out. I regret not buying the set when I was staying in Thailand.

I was thinking the same the other day! I loved Khun Chai Ratchanon's interesting plot but the romance was a meh. The leads chemistry most likely have a factor too. I see lots of Kao-PP stuff all over my "X" feed. but I don't mind. Haha. Omg! I'm waiting for Peak and Mint too! That's my most anticipated couple hehe.

Is it just me or is the mystery portion of this story more interesting? I find Gulf and Gina cute but haven't felt much with the romance. The heartbreak's coming up this week so hopefully that'll give some oomph to their storyline.

I think it's still the same. That's just how they're choosing to spell "Tewaprom" in English. The last name of the leading ladies bloodline from their mom's side.

I hope it'll be globally on Netflix and not just Thailand Netflix.

I finished Ep.24 and I'm so nervous to continue. I'm really enjoying how everything intertwines.

I'm honestly just so excited we're finally getting the sequel. I've waited so patiently for 10 years and almost gave up. lol. I love my Jutathep family and it's so nice to see them once again but now bigger.

I watched Ep.1 and was a bit sad we didn't see DYX until the very end but I like the premise it's setting. The only thing is poor Wa'er's character, Ali Baba. It's kind of cringe to hear him speak like that but I understand he's the foreigner. The dubbing just makes it sound even funnier.

HAHA!! I knew he looked too familiar. Now I won't be able to unsee it. 🤣

All you have to say is Ding Yuxi and I'm there! I can't believe we're finally getting to see this one. 😍

In the flashbacks it's obvious Guan Chao and Yi Fei like each other but is it ever confirmed they are dating? Or do they both just acknowledge it and go about their day? During their New Year gift exchange they were happy they got each other and swapped gifts that they clearly bought for each other. Why not just gift it if you're already a thing? P.S. I know about their future outcome but don't know the reason behind it so please don't spoil that part. Thanks!
