OMG!!!! YESSSS. Ep. 29 and 30 was amazing. But Ya'll if Xiao Jue wasn't a whole ass proud boyfriend/husband material throughout the entire thing. Every time He Yan spoke or someone praised her they literally cut back to him and this man was her literal hype man. He was all smiles and couldn't be more happy to see her thrive. We love to see it!! 👏👏

LOL. That family dinner. Xiao Jue and He Yan forgot they were back home. 😂 Poor brother and sister-in-law.

I just finished Ep. 27. *sigh* He Rufei is the weakest link. It annoys me to even watch him think he's a clever tricky guy and then constantly run back to cry to Xu Jingfu.

Yes. I totally agree!! I'd take a good battle scene over palace politics any day. I literally had to do a double take on Cheng Lei bc it happened so fast but that was pure gold. They were in such amazing sync.

OH MY GAHHH!! Episode 26 was fire. Now I know why the Rundu battle arc was such a memorable scene for Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei. I'm so at lost for words. I was in literal awe with chills.

I've been waiting for our leads to fight together in battle and they delivered! I swear that was some real boss couple energy. 👏👏And can we please talk about Cheng Lei executing all those soldiers while his foot was wrapped around the horse. Holy smokes! Like ya'll I cannot stop raving over this battle. This was the baddie energy I wanted to see.

Thanks to all the comments about Chu Zhao. I could not stop laughing every time they cut back to him during the fight. It's supposed to be a serious intriguing moment but when CZ starts to play the flute I lost it.

I will say, since his character is morally gray, thanks for being courageous to go with He Yan and the crew but genuinely asking, how would CZ's character be of any help going with them?

so ultimately neither He Rufei or He Yan got to live as their selves but yet they were victims of pretending to be another person all bc of the father. Yikes.
