I was meaning to comment on this. I have to agree about Gao Yi. His behavior doesn't match up. And wasn't it too much of a slap in the face when he showed up trying to help JH. *sigh* all these big 🙅‍♀️ business men.

That worker! A big 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ It's great we're all on the same page about XS. Even if he does improve his EQ, I like that you used the words default setting. At the end of the day, I think he'd still resort to that because it's his nature to do so.

I need to find me a cook like YJ! Maybe not so much like XS though haha.

Jiang Hu's determination to keep Tengyue a float. Jiang Hu had to bite the bullet redundantly. She went through so much humiliation returning to Free Unicorn. Zhang Wenshan was such an a** to her. The way she reacted entering her father's office had me reminisce how time has flown by so quickly. It's amazing she lasted that long in the company sitting with Zhang Wenshan. Right after she gets called to sit in on Xu Si's meeting with FW. Double humiliation. She's definitely frustrated but I liked that they show her getting into Xu Si's car to have dinner after wanting to walk away. Shows how much she's grown as a person.

And speaking of dinner, Xu Si pestered her twice to go have dinner. I'm wondering if it's because he knows he hasn't been feeding her well lol. Reference to Yang Jian's comment when Jiang Hu was devouring the wontons he made her for lunch.

JH: You have no idea how horrible the canteen food is
YJ: It's obvious the investor is not providing well. 🤣

Alright, Jiang Hu's dream lives rent free in my head. Even if it was her dream, I'd like to think they're still hinting to us that Xu Si is the one to fall first. He's all smiley laying next to her. They really know how to tease us. Sign me up to join the express package team if they make one. LOL!

Hypocritical courtesy! I loved that JH used that on XS. All along I've been trying to put my finger on the word and here she is serving it to him directly.

Some thoughts I had on Ep.13:

I just watched the previews. How cute! In today's episode I noticed he was already giving her some looks when she mentioned going to Zhang Wenshan for help. It feels good to be the audience sometimes. 🤣🤣

I actually haven't read the novel besides looking at Ch.1 so I'm not sure about it. I've heard the novel is way different from the drama so maybe she'll be accepting in here? 🤞🤞

HAHA! That's my exact thoughts. I was dying in October thinking how the rest of the year would go and here we are getting hit left and right like in the summer. I'm trying to start OFL and LIP but haven't gotten there yet but if my other modern dramas air too, I'm done for.

I'll share some more thoughts on the latest episodes later but I just wanted to point out how similar Jiang Hu and Xu Si's mom are. Both ladies look towards nostalgia and EQ when it comes to business. On top of that, they love to play tricks/act for Xu Si's attention. 😂😂 I think they'll be getting a long quite well (hopefully). How will you deal with a double team, Xu Si?

I thought it was just me. I have yet to peek at the other dramas I promised myself to check out. This one took me by surprise and is the 1st thing I'll watch in the mornings.

I've never watched any of Zhong Chuxi's stuff so I'm not sure about her. I know Wu Xuanyi and Gao Zhiting are not dubbed.

ZY says she over heard Xu Si mention that he wanted to take Jiang Hu's right to manage Teng Yue. I know they made the 49-51% deal but is this the angst we're preparing for? He told his assistant that he wanted to revive Tengyue not destroy it. Or am I just not understanding the wording lol. Whatever his plans, I can clealry see why Jiang Hu will get super upset at him later from what I saw in the trailers. This will be quite an interesting aspect to look forward to.

I love that we're getting more discussions here! This one is grabbing my full attention. And per the emoji's on tomorrow's episode, I was expecting a cute moment but it don't look like it from the previews.
These latest 2 episodes were packed with such great insights on being emotional vs. intellectual. But did anyone catch what Zhaoyang said to Yang Jian when they were discussing about Jiang Hu. I'll put it the spoiler below.

That's a great way to put it. I know he's starting to change but he's still deeply rooted with his business ideologies. And I just don't think he'll be able to let it go that easily. Like you mentioned above, it already struck me when Zhaoyang asked him about judging a person's value. His answer was quite robotic imo. Not everything has to be logical.

I do hope he'll learn a lesson from it but really it'd be a beautiful thing to see how they both bring their strong differences to meet in the middle.
