I actually liked the opening credit for E15. I don't know why they changed it but I've seen it been done before. It might've just been an editing mistake. I love your interpretation of the cacti. With their busy lives, only a cacti can fit their schedules and current nature.

Such a well done risk they took! It weaved out the snakes and at no true loss. 👏 I teared up with JH when the workers diligently tried to complete the order. At least it shows that investing in your workers do come with a benefit. It can't be all profit.

Speaking of which, I love the little details they put in here to imply the habits and progress of our leads.

Milk tea with double sugar is Xu Si's go to order every time he's in a bad mood. Notice how he was excited for their dinner and ordered sparkling water. It wasn't until she stood him up that he ordered the "usual". I was waiting to see if he'd ordered it and he sure did! This is the 4th time they mentioned it I believe.

In Ep.15 Xu Si receives a Cacti plant from his mom. His Aunt tells him the fortune App says he needs flowers in his room so he can get married sooner. Then we get a close up shot of a small cacti Jiang Hu has in her room with one small flower bud after their "date". I'd like to interpret it as their connection is slowly blossoming and marriage could be soon! Haha.

Jiang Hu walked away to cry after seeing the loyal workers. But Xu Si was there yet again to see her cry. Their vulnerability moments seem to be Xu Si - 4 and Jiang Hu- 1. He's been there to witness so much of her vulnerable side. 🥺

She's a true Boss! 💯 She's got all of her workers interest at heart and is making good moves to thrive. I'm loving the energy.

Xu Si invited Jiang Hu to dinner immediately after his return from a business trip. Yes, it could have been for business purposes but it didn’t seem like it by the way he reacted in the restaurant. I loved how Yang Jian smirked when she commented about being late for her dinner with Xu Si. She explains that dealing with Liu Jun (sunflower seed guy) isn’t even as complicated as Xu Si and darts off. I’m with you Yang Jian! It’s giving couple vibes. 😂😍.

Be prepared to have butterflies in your stomach. I was grinning nonstop when she asked if he had dinner yet and his stomach started to grumble. He was upset at her but that little grumble broke the ice. It was the most genuine smile I’ve seen Xu Si give to Jiang Hu. Look at the impact they’re having on me. 💀

We’re getting Xu Si’s soft boy era. And by we, I mean us included with Jiang Hu. She’s taken aback by his sudden caring nature. That convenience store date was the cutest. We get a look into Xu Si’s childhood trauma given the explanation of the fire that caused his father and Uncle to die. Xu Si mentioned it once before during a conversation with his mom. I can start to understand why he is the way he is now. I’m thinking he’s blocked out that part of his trauma to focus and prevent future businesses from making the same mistakes. But in hindsight, that won’t really prevent anything per se. Well, I’m all for soft boy era Xu Si and love to see him heal from his trauma. I’m glad he opened up to Jiang Hu giving her more insight to his nature. They’re so well matched! 😍

Ep.16:
The chef Jiang Hu managed to poach for the company is from C Club. Also, the Chef Xu Si quite likes. I guess that means we’ll be seeing him around Tengyue more 😏😏. Which actually is already true. *Cue jealous Xu Si* He learns of the incident between Jiang Hu and Liu Jun and immediately rushes over to the company. He’s upset she didn’t tell him directly what happened but is even more upset when she called Yang Jian for help instead of him. 😂😂 She makes a good point by reminding him of his position in the company. You can’t bother the big boss with these matters, right? I guess you better hurry up and become boyfriend instead Xu Si.

Xu Si and Zhao Yang’s paralleled scene dealing with unrighteous companies is a masterpiece. Excellent execution to showcase the different yet similar ideologies of moral integrity! 👏👏

Seriously! I tell people the same thing. Don't sleep on this show. I stay promoting it on all my social media accts. 😂 It's probably because of all other shows going on too. This one has a more mature storyline so to speak and is a slow burn romance. 1 thing I find keeping me hooked on the show is how much focus we're getting on the leads. There's no random unnecessary annoying character that's ruining the show and it's quite endearing with realistic moments.

Not at Xu Si visiting her the next day to indirectly hint/ask about last night's incident. The impact it really took on him. 🤣

Oh! I guess it's good novel readers can see more depth of ZY and YJ. They have a good dynamic.
