this is not as bad as people in the comments are saying, like, at all. it's cute and funny, and it's a good choice if you want something very cliche and light to pass time. the second couple (Ya nan and guo yan) are the best part of the drama in terms of romance. way more plot and excitement in their love-hate relationship, even though they have way less screen time together and I hoped for a lot more of their relationship to be portrayed. there was not enough of them in the drama. the main couple is good, but it could have been better (especially because they are or were, idk a couple in real life). I didn't think it lacked chemistry, as everyone is saying here, but to me it was the combination of three problems: 1. the main couple have less scenes together than everyone else. luhan had more sweet-like moments with the second female lead then with xiao tong, so i guess it didn't felt like they were in love because they had so many little moments together to get to feel that way. 2. the female lead acted so rude to ML almost the entire drama. it was like seeying little kids being "bad" to the person they like in kindergarten. it didn't make it any sense and it bothered me so much. she was very rude to him all the time for no reason at all and then acted all jealous when he was with other people. how do you expect someone to know you like them if you treat them like garbage all the time? in the begging, i understood her reasons, but as the drama passed, it started to sound unreasonable. 3. so, they had just a few romantic scenes, she was rude to him a lot and then... from nowhere, they were in love. and I felt the romance between the two leads were very draggy. things only got better between them in the latest episodes, and then it had all that same old drama that Chinese and Taiwanese dramas have. On the good side, the drama portraits friendship so well. the friendship circle they formed was solid, and everyone watched everyone's backs.it was cute, and sometimes really funny. I also loved that the female lead was stronger than the male lead, and I loved the MMA aspect. ALL the females on this drama are strong and independent women, who stand up for themselves and they fight guys twice as big then them like it's nothing. Overall it was a good watch, I laugh a lot in most episodes, the side couples are all good, and if you can oversee the slow-paced romance and the stiffness of the female lead, it's very enjoyable.
I am having a hard time liking the whole story. i am stuck in a meh... feeling
i can only watch dramas that i like the female lead in some way. but in one episode of this drama, I was so tired of the female lead. she was kind of meh to me. couldn't watch the rest of it :(
I started watching this so many times, but I always drop it. I don't know why. I love these cliches lighthearted Chinese dramas, and after love O2O, meteor garden, a love so beautiful and Accidentaly in love, I was craving some good cliche, but this one just doesn't do it for me. I don't know, I can't force myself to like the female lead at all, and I'm not really crazy about male lead either. I'll probably try to watch this again sometime in the future if I never find another Chinese drama subbed as good as love o2o.
there are so many great Chinese dramas that no one knows about because they are never completely subbed or subbed AT ALL :( i prefer chinese dramas over korean, but they are so hard to find
I've always been all for the female mc's in every drama, be it Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai... this drama was the first time I wasn't so sure if I wanted the main couple to be together at the end. the main guy became probably my favorite male mc EVER. he was everything, funny but deep, charming and real, with real scars, an amazing sense of loyalty and a true friend. he loved in his own way and he was so amazing to people around him. BUT the female mc... I really liked her in the first 6 or 7 episodes, but then... I was truly mad at her until the last scenes of the last episode. how someone could be like that is beyond my comprehension. She made ALL the wrong choices with all the most stupid excuses and it seemed to me that she was just lying to herself the entire drama, and it was very unnecessary. I was satisfied with how the things ended, even if I wanted more "closure". I loved the side couples too, and Yamato was the cutest guy in this show. overall, is a cute drama, with a lot of heartbreaking moments. Gonna miss Halu's charm. there are very few actors out there with a charm that strong lol
one of the best dramas I've ever seen. loved every single episode, was in love with the villain, and the plot twists (and there are many of them) are amazing. the only thing to me that left me down was the open ending... to me, the ending left a lot of space to the second season that I know i'll probably never get.
It's not the character. It's her acting...she's a bad actress---there's something in her acting that's just not…
I couldn't get pass trough Kiss Me: The series. I really couldn't. I wish I could because overall the story seemed interesting to me, but I couldn't stand her (and the sister too), but her character specifically. I feel like she's always playing the same roles, the same annoying girl who lets everyone do anything to them and says "oh, it's ok". her role in this series is the dumbest I've ever seen in a Thai series. I didn't complete a single series she was the main girl.
Now, the girl from u prince: single lawyer is AMAZING. I really loved her there, and Single Lawyer was my fave u prince, mostly bc of her and their chemistry. (i also like the actor too). she's just so good, her acting is great. wish I could see her in more main roles. I mean, she played a role who had real character development and that's hard to do, so I think she would be great in other types of roles.
the main problem with GMMTV to me is that they have good actress and they also have good plots (sometimes I'm just fed up with overdramatic k dramas and want something less dramatic and more slice of life to watch) but they just waste it, bc they keep casting the same actresses to the same roles all the time - and the main roles all seemed the same too. so, often, I just keep watching for the side couples.
Haven't seen her in anything really. Krist's character seems really interesting and I saw half of episode 1 subbed…
i watched a lot of dramas she's in: from kiss the series to that drama with Push. the stories are great, the main leads are ok most of the time, and i usually can pass through a couple of episodes... but i ALWAYS get to a point when i just can't watch her. it's the same role over and over again and gets kind of annoying with the time. i wish i liked her acting because most of her dramas are usually good, and i really wanted to watch for krist. i would probably give it a chance, tough.
Yeah she is a terrible actress,, she just scream all the time with that annoying voice and has just the same facial…
the problem with her is she's always playing the same roles over and over again: the kinda dumb, annoying girl, they try really hard to make her roles sweet and all, but it just doesn't work. i really stopped watching ALL the dramas she has the main role. i give them a chance all the time, but i can't pass trough her acting and her roles in general. it's just idk kinda boring
