Just finished ep 26 and this show is sooo good. It breaks my heart seeing how low the ratings are for this drama. It did not deserve that 5.5 Douban rating and I hope it won't deter others from giving it a try. Such a shame because the the chemistry of the leads, visuals and plot are so good but the editing and pacing was done poorly and affected a lot of people's opinions.

Whatever, for those that get it, get it! It's a beautiful romance and I'm glad to have been able to see it :(

Also I need more scenes of Mu Qingyan sitting on a chair and sipping his tea and smirking. IM EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE

Finally I caught up on episodes and the show is just getting better and better

I really loved EP 20-22. Our ML is so clingy and shameless and while others might find that annoying, I really love that about him. Knowing his father sacrificed his own happiness for the greater good but still ending up suffering in the end, Qingyan knows what he wants and he will fight for it until the end. He's not afraid to show everyone how much he dotes on our FL and his little acts of services were so cute to watch. (the piggyback scene ahh)

On the other hand you have Zhao Zhao who is a bit more reserved on her feelings for our ML and while others might see it as being one sided on the ML's part, she's obviously smitten by him as well. Zhaozhao has always drawn the line with everyone else and never letting them get close to her but she's allowed Mumu to approach and boldly flirt with her in private and public. The amount of times they've locked fingers and held hands and act like it's a normal thing friends do hahaha. They're clearly crushing and being all lovey dovey !!

I really loved watching all the comedy and drama unfolding with the qingque gang and li sect members working together to break up Zhao's engagement. When they took turns beating Zhou Yuqi up I couldn't stop laughing hahahaha. Even Lingbo came to defend her which is so surprising

I couldn't stop replaying the scenes from these episodes, I hope the fun continues for the next but I know there's gonna be some angst coming up soon T_T

Just wanted to give props to the production team as the Ost for this drama is so nice and catchy. I've been humming the ending credit and 'It should be so' by wang zhengliang and huang ling all day today

Zhaozhao is so much stronger than me, she's dodged him a whole 3 times

I enjoy the drama quite a lot. Its not perfect and I have my own complaints about the editing but plot wise its pretty good and I havent felt the need to skip any scenes. Im surprised you think the plot isnt moving a long because a lot of events happened and many secrets have been revealed about the past.

Of course what makes it even better is the main leads especially Zhou Yiran's killer face card. I love their chemistry and love story, i havent felt this way about a pairing since Prisoner of Beauty

that's what I love about her, she's always been one to speak her mind and set things straight!

I haven't watched Till the end of the moon but I was wondering if there's any other similar dramas with same MLs. Need something to distract me while I wait for new episodes.

He is dubbing himself. He has such a nice deep voice

the YEARNINGG in ep 18. I don't think I've ever seen a male lead so obsessed and manipulative as mu qingyan. Hes such a red flag but i can't help but swoon ahh

Mu Qingyan is so shameless, he almost reminds me of Ji Bozai LOL

that's sad to hear, I'm enjoying the show very much and love the leads :( I've become a huge fan of Zhou Yiran. How could they say his acting is robotic!? with all that emotion in his eyes alone!?

This drama is such a visual fest (minus the clothing and hairstyles), Zhou Yiran looks so good in historical setting I can't help swooning and replaying the earlier episodes just to see him again. I really love Chang ning's styling even though I know more people prefer Mu Qingyan. Ugh I wish they gave him more screentime in the last few episodes!!

Personally I didn't really find the storyline too confusing to follow even though they keep introducing new characters every episode. The editing is a bit choppy but I'll forgive the director for his beautiful cinematography. The plot itself isn't new but still keeps me interested and I love the bits of comedy added.

I wish I didn't start watching until it finished airing because now I'm stuck waiting for new episodes T_T

To each their own opinion. I loved it a lot and clearly a lot of people did as well. It’s a treat for us romance lovers

did you hear the news that his new drama "A dream within a dream" might premiere by end of June? Seems like his character styling is similar to Wei Shao but even better. Can't wait to see him again in costume. He looks soooo good

ep. 32 was the most intimate and romantic scene i've seen in all Cdramas, I felt like I was interrupting something. Loved that the actors weren't afraid to go all in

I can't believe I use to think he was not that good looking but now I find him the most attractive and charismatic

Already finished the series days ago but I'm still having withdrawal symptoms from missing the main couple too much. Liu Yuning and Song Zuer had such an amazing chemistry, I've become a huge fan of both actors and look forward to their future works. It's by far my top 3 (if not top 1 dethroning the double and love and redemption) favourite Chinese dramas of all time, it was a good romance with a fast paced storyline. Usually I get bored from all the politics and mls having misunderstandings or boring side character plots but this one kept me wanting more every episode. Sad it was only 36 episodes.

Didn't know the ratings would be such a controversy but its a 10 for me and deserved its high rating. Hope I can find another drama as good as this to keep me occupied until Liu Yuning's new drama comes out.
