Some stuff I remembered from episodes 9 & 10:
ML found out that FL lied to him about losing her innocence and was so angry and confronted her. FL was expecting to have the ML accompany her she she could sleep through the night but they quarreled over the lie instead. The FL could also smell the scent of a woman from the ML since he just returned SNN place.

We also found out that the ML parents passed away when he was young so the brother took over the task to protect the country and the aunt become their guardian.

When the aunt returned she made thing difficult for the FL and punished her. Somehow the ML carried the FL to bed was supposed to be by her side by had to leave to get punished in place of her. Left alone to sleep, she dreamt that the ML was being drugged to perform lewd act with a female and she woke up being very angry. There was also this scene when his subordinate arranged for a lady to serve the ML so the FL misunderstood him for being a womaniser. So she predicts that he will let her down within a month and returns to the palace whereby both of them signed on separate divorced letters. The emperor summons the FL and ask her if she thought the assailant looked the the ML and other stuff about him. By accident he gets to see the her side of the divorce letter and reprimands her to stay by the ML side as his spy. Then the Emperor summons the ML and hints for one of the prince to take over the army. We also learnt that the brother was believe to have died in a fire while protecting the tablet of the royal ancestors.

So we know that this is the 10th dream and she has 2 more credits left. The FL confide to the 2ML and their teacher that she believes the ML cannot neutralise the dreams and perhaps it is because of his brutal acts in the war.

So the FL father died because he used all 12 credits to help the Emperor and died and she got adopted. They keep this secret so she won't get used.

Think the flow is as such that if she dreams of the future and alters it and by the 12th time she will die. The Emperor mentioned that her father help him by doing so and died in the process - that's why they wanted to hide this from the Emperor so he may not make use of her. Think it should count as a time whether the future is altered or not.

The young Li Yubing appeared as the ML as a child as well. So in the first scene that's his son?

They are just "related" through royalty. The FL is adopted by the King because her dad died because of the King so they are not related by blood.

Now that you mentioned it I recall! Thanks. Guess I am catching too many drama at one time that I am confused - there is also a similar scene I watched last night from Chef Fang that the Crown Prince is trying to kidnap the FL probably for his wife. Now it all adds up, thanks for piecing it together for me! Guess this is the result of not concentrating on one drama at a time. LOL

For some titbits: I also remembered that the older bro in the flashback is acted by the the actor from King's Avatar. The young ML by the young boy from Skate into Love - this young boy also appeared in the first scene when the ML was storytelling. Is that their son? :) I actually looked at the cast and credits above, the older version of the brother is not listed yet (or is the Peng Bi Yao and Zhang Yu the ice girl and the brother?) - let's see.

Updates: Just researched and the brother is acted by Zhu Zhi Ling.

May not be same crap for older viewers who are familiar with Stephen Chow's style slapstick humor. In Chinese we call it 無厘頭, and it's a genre on its own. It is really fun and fresh for new viewers though.

Was looking at this and almost wanted to catch it when I wad browsing through a streaming site yesterday. However the scores are so low there that I pulled the brakes.

Same here, not a fan of his looks but thought he looks good in the trailers.

Looks good... 50+++ episodes though

I got what you mean but it isn't because of looks or anything. I stopped at the scene when she woke up and met the 2 masters. It seems that they are trying to hard to try to get the viewers laughing...

Agree and I feel they invested too many episodes on the repeated misunderstandings leading to the breakup (disliked those episodes). I'd prefer they rush the breakup and spend more time on the healing and support from the FL and eventually getting together-may make more sense judging from ML character.

Oh wow I haven't thought of it so deeply yet. Now that you mentioned it, I haven't really questioned who may been the person behind the kidnap attempt. There are already no other characters presented so far except for the brother especially these 2 episodes and they seem to cast a doubt over how he died. So you really made a plausible guess and it would be a good twist. I didn't get the part on the "women on ice", was that mentioned when the kidnappers reported on the foiled mission?

It is about managing your expectations, I often see so many reviews with high scores on shows that I watched before and I go "really?". We have to know the viewers have different expectations going into watching a drama so one may not get into the hype of even a highly rated drama.

:) For over the top plots I am fine with it as long as it is executed properly and consistent with the flow of the show. For me it is like in real life first impression is the looks but won't brush them off. Normally I will watch the first episode for the entirely feel and know if I wanna continue. For some reason I seem to prioritise the ML looks looks over the FL's... LOL. That is probably linked to the matching visuals you mentioned - maybe because I am a dude :D

Yes it is so far so good. I always like a good looking ML. Hope you caught it already.

Waiting for episode 11 tomorrow, so far 10 episodes filled with hot-cold relationship between the leads - their intentions may not be that easy to understand but still not confusing yet. Really cute C/P especially the ML with his brooding looks. As of many dramas of this genre loads of wanna leave but can't bear to leave/cannot leave scenes up till now. Hope there is enough contents to keep me interested for the next 25 episodes. The story behind the FL and the background of the ML seems to have been revealed already or nothing much left I guess. Fingers crossed...
