Finally, one evil down. That Know-it-all dumb guy gets what he deserves. Urgh.
Next evil needs to be beaten tomorrow. My dear, she opened the story with her craziness... I hope she ends it up with becoming sane... For once.
Anyway, why do I feel that my anticipated big confrontation (Ling Xiao & Chen Ting) would happen with Chengzi, finally finding out that she had an older sis who died because of her effin' mom, who later on blamed Ling Xiao for that? (Sorry, I really do think it's the mom's fault and not Ling Xiao's. Imagine locking the door and leaving the kids without any supervision. Oh gawd.) Honestly, she doesn't deserve to have kids right from the start. Urgh.
No it is not. Is is adapted from a taiwanese drama, same title (2011).
It is based from a novel of the same title.. I believe it's different from the Taiwanese drama though... (But I may be wrong since I haven't watched that drama. The novel has the names of the characters in the 2020 drama though).
This is adapted from a novel? Can someone please post the link?
Yes, it is adapted from a novel. I haven't seen any translated ver of the novel, but the original Chinese ver. can be found here. https://m.hetushu.com/book/2852/index.html
It's on WeTV. 8 eps available for VIP... However, it varies on which country you're in, I think. If you're in Asia, I believe it's viewable, but if you're in the US, I don't think so. It depends on the rights / prerogative (?) to manage of a separate firm or partner of Tencent of the site on certain countries...
Btw, it's on youtube also.. check the Huace Yt channel... Those living in the US can view it, but not those in Asia (or only for some countries in Asia???). As of now, only 2 episodes are available there, like the 2 free episodes for non-members on WeTV... But it will increase based on the drama calendar
I just finished the first 8 episodes. It a good light romance drama. I like how the leads interact and their chemistry. Even the side characters are so far doing fine. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.
I'm glad that the ML is not the typical 2D character of being cold etc. He actually shows other emotions, and I'm liking it so far. The FL is not the cutesy type. Thank God. She does remind me of Eleanor's character in My Love, Enlighten Me.
Speaking of which.... it does remind me so much of My Love, Enlighten Me. The tone of the story and feel of the drama are similar. It's like being told in a friendly, subtle and sweet way, but still cute and fun to watch.
Huace and Tencent did not disappoint me again. Yay.
P.S. I've read that a lot of people don't want to watch this because they were put off by Tang Xiao Tian's character in Put Your Head on My Shoulder. I swear he's so much better here... And just don't think of his character in the other dramas. He fits the role here in my opinion and acts decently compared to some other male leads who are doing stiff acting.
I have the Wetv app and I’m a VIP but I don’t see it.... Do you live in the US?
Oh, why? I don't live in the US. Sorry... I checked now, I can still view Ep 8...
(I wanna send you a screen cap but it's not possible for this site. :( )
It's probably because of the company who has the rights to do business for WeTV in the US... :/ Their release dates or policies, or rights vary, I guess.
Oh wow. I just thought of looking at Chengzi (Song Fang Yuan)'s real age.... I can't believe that she's a 1996er like Sun Yi (Mingyue). She's one year younger than Steven and way older than Weilong. Applaud to her. She really looked like a teen. Well, Seven also did act well and look loke a teen in the first eps. I just can't believe that Weilong is the youngest among the cast. (Excluding the child actors and actresses).
It's still airing dear until the eve of the 6th. You need to ask againsometime after that, or else your (this)…
Hi, dear. There are 2 versions being released. One TV version and one online. The difference is the length per episode. But all the contents are the same. The TV ver. has 46 eps while the online has 40. Currently, TV released 40 eps. while online has 35. The drama is still not finished trust me. Find out by Sunday evening or Monday morning CST about it. :)
Here's another preview, kind of. HE. Yay.
