MangoTV uploads the 2 versions (TV and Online version) every 10pm if I remember correctly. Then, IQiyi and WeTV uploads the Online version 2 hours later. I don't know as to viki. However, you can only unlock all the latest episodes if you avail the VIP. The TV version is ahead of the online version. But the online version is subbed.

I feel like the online version would just be 36 or 38 at most... Because the TV version is really short. And it's funny how IQiyi pit "Updated to x/40 episodes" Hahaha... It would be nice if we get 40 eps on the online too... (Secretly wanting them to release additional epilogue / episodes online). Hehe.

Hmmmm... It actually depends on the culture... Korea uses "oppa" to those older than them even though they're not real siblings... (And it became a term of endearment for lovers for non-Koreans because Western culture doesn't have the right translation for it.) It's the same thing in China... "Gege" is not just used for your older real brother... These terms are more of a form of respect especially in Asian Countries. Usually, some Western countries can't understand this culture... They even call their aunts or uncles as cousins, or just names without the honorific terms.... This might not look normal if an Asian would hear it.

But yeah, there also are couples who don't use these terms... Like they use baobei or lao gong... But those who are friends to lovers, they usually use the Gege term.

Hope this helps. It's actually the problem of translation... If only English has a direct term for Gege or Oppa being used as honorifics and not as nouns with their literal meaning...Hehe.

Well, they're balancing the episodes again.... TV version is a full episode (30 min) ahead. If they show Ep 27 on the online version, then it would be much ahead than the TV release, which is not good for real time viewership ratings. Let's hope they release 2 episodes tomorrow.

For some reason.... I want Ziqiu and Tang Can together... HahahahahH....

I'm rewtching this drama again after 6 years. I really remember liking it then, but really hated the ending. I always imagine a different ending for this one whenever I think of this drama. The entire drama was good except the ending. But I can overlook at it. It's like 99% good and 1% super bad. It's still good for me. Looking forward to watching the entirety in one go.

Oh, does it? I really don't know. Haha I actually watch a drama based on the story at first... Then I would decide whether to continue or not after watching the first few episodes. Here to heart didn't leave me a bad impression actually. It's on the serious side but, acting wise and tone wise, it reminds me of My Sunshine and Never Gone.

Edit/add'n: I really don't take the ratings into consideration before watching a drama. There are lots of goods dramas which have bad ratings because they're not mainstream popular.

I can't remember much of the dramas... but here's in addition to the other recommendations here.

1. Apple In Your Eye (2014, Taiwanese)
If something like growing up together and falling in love.... You can check this. It's good... Except for the ending. Just ignore it, in my opinion. But it's good. Now that I'm thinking about it, it has some similarities with Go Ahead...Deals with family problems too... But Go Ahead is funnier and lighter in a way.

2. Here to Heart (2018, Chinese)
ML is forever in love with FL... They were together, then, parted ways... Then fell in love again. Somewaht heavy. Setting is working place.

3. 20th Century Boy and Girl (2017, Korean)
3 girls, 1 guy group of friends. ML and FL are each others first love. ML went away. Came back as an adult. Fell in love again.

4. Chocolate (2019, Korean)
They encountered each otger when they were young... Then, saw each other again as adults. ML can't initially remember the FL, but FL remembers. ML become some sort of strength for FL.

5. Lovely Us (2020, Chinese)
They grew up together and bicker a lot. ML likes FL since young but did not realize it until they're teens. ML likes FL first. Has same feel as Reply Series. Light and short drama. Very much recommended.

6. True Colors (2020, Chinese)
They're best friends. Then, fell in love. Not really heavy, but not also that light. Setting is in university.

7. Unrequited Love (2019, Chinese)
FL and ML anonymously communicates in HS, but only FL identifies ML. FL harbors unrequited love. Didn't really say it to ML. ML falls in love with FL in university...

8. Destiny-like Love (2016, Japanese)
Old FL, young ML... But not really much of an age gap, imo. They met when they were young. ML is forever in love with FL. FL, divorced and has a teenage son, is at the stage in life of not really thinking of love anymore. It's somewhat melodrama... But not to the point of crying, imo. It might be slow burn for some but it's really a very good drama. The writer is known for her good romantic dramas.

9. Secret Fruit (2017, Chinese Movie)
There's a drama version of this entitled "All about Secrets". I haven't seen it yet. But based on the movie, the story is about childhood friends who began to like each other.

It's like they will have lesser episodes on the online version than the TV version.... ? Hmmm. They're almost at par already. To think that online has 25 and TV has 28. I still wonder if they'll release a 40 episode online version. Oh well...

I still wonder when will Tencent release this... So I'm expecting this to be shown on WeTV... But then they still have Oath of Love to release there... I hope they will simultaneously release this drama with that... and not be pushed.... I've been waiting since last year for this. :(

I love tonight's episodes... I'm, most of the time, smiling... Hehe... But that storm story while Ziqiu was so serious. Hahahahahaha...

I think they're trying to balance the TV and online release. The TV release must always be advance than the online one... To assure TV viewership. So that at least, in the end, the TV release will be up to 2 episodes advanced than the online one. Currently, it's only one episode advanced (based on the scenes released... disregarding the number of episodes.)
