I was annoyed first by the peach commentary, but in later episodes it gives extra depth to the artistic idea behind…
ok, I'll admit that I zone out a bit at the peach commentary on the latest eps so maybe I'm missing some of the depth. I'll pay more attention in future eps π
Huh. From the comments I thought it was going to be unwatchable, but I've binged up to ep 5, and i've actually enjoyed it. I mean, it's def not good but it has it's moments. I will say I skip the second couple and I watch it at 1.25 speed (highly recommend this!), and I can most definitely do without all the AI images and peach commentary, but I quite like the two main actors, esp the one that plays Sasom. those two are doing a good job in their scenes so I really just watch it for them. I don't know, maybe I've seen so many boring or poorly acted shows recently that my standards for enjoyment have dropped, but I don't hate this π€·π½ββοΈ
... Oh My ... Those woods where EVERYONE get lost ~We even can run into kids who got lost when ourselves got lost.…
lol, yeah, I actually wondered if he was hallucinating her cos it was so random. I half expecred that when meng pulled back the jacket after they kissed it would turn out to be a block of wood wrapped in it πI wondered if we were going to get a twist where he had some sort of mental illness. Sadly, it was not the case
I like TeeteePor / PorTeetee and I enjoy the series so far, but the funny sound effects (not funny at all, actually)…
yeah agreed, but I wouldn't stress too much about the rating, it's still a new show so they tend to start high and then settle down after more people watch it. tbh, ratings can be totally meaningless in MDL since ppl often rate on emotions
ok, so I really can't with the second couple. dude was upset that he had a one night stand with a blackout drunk guy who forgot him? and then says HE wants revenge...? π€
I'm enjoying this but I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity. Not that it should be exactly like Addicted,…
tbh, I didn't remember their characters at all from Addicted (it's been so long since I watched it) so I came at this show without any expectations. maybe that's helped me enjoy it for what it is. I don't know that I would consider Youqi to have the character of an immature 17yo though? We've seen him dealing with personal and work issues in a fairly measured way, although sometimes with a bit of bravado. And we have seen him show care for people he meets along the way. perhaps the show could tell us a bit more backstory, like you said probably had a lot of superficial relationships (maybe they could be a bit more explicit in the storytelling), but I like that he didn't seem to let it stop him from falling in love π anyhoo, I totally agree re yang meng, he seems to have a typical abusive father trauma which does give him greater angst to deal with.
anyone read the manga? I couldn't find it online, so I'd be happy to be spoiled if anyone knows how it ends, re the relationship between them. I'm a bit torn since he's in high school and I have no idea how old the tutor is supposed to be, but old mangas are full of these things
it's not bad, the main couple is an easy watch, but the rest of the characters are a bit of a struggle. Happy to continue watching it to see how it goes, which I can't say for every series I've started recently
honestly I wouldn't watch it if it wasn't for firstkhao, it's so boring
agreed, I got my hopes up in the first ep with the mum/debt drama, but the latest EPS I did a lot of skipping. I like cats and first Khao but not sure it needs 10eps of this. Wish they got a better script
not the best drama, I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense and thee characters are a bit weird, but I did like the acting from Lee Sangmin. it was also nice to see the friend from Ballboy Tactic again, but hope he finds a better role.
