EP 163 = MEMBERS' SINCERITY!!! soompi spoiled about the prank but i was laughing so hard!!! i felt so bad for…
You speak about soompi's spoil but maybe you should edit this post as a spoil too ;) Like that, other users won't be spoiled like you were haha. But this episode was so much fun!! I felt so bad for them and was praying it was some sort of prank!
I started watching the show around the time Shin Sung Rok joined the team and have not gone back to the firsts episodes with the original cast yet. I see some comments talking about how they preferred the show with its original concept, with the OG team and how they get bored of it now etc. But from the viewpoint of a "new generation" watcher, I absolutely love the new cast and newer seasons, perhaps because I do not have the nostalgia of before. Covid19 must hinder a lot of aspects of the show, but it still feels genuine and the whole has great chemistry. My fave members are actually the "New trio", Cha Eun Woo x Shin Sung Rok x Kim Dong Hyun. They feel fresh and seem to absolutely love being on the show.
My point is not to say what season/cast/concept is better but to say to newer watchers : don't be discouraged of starting this show. Master In The House is still highly enjoyable and you'll hold your belly laughing, you'll cry a bit and you'll admire the masters.
Ok I tried. I watched 4 episodes but the FL is so over the top I can't even bear to watch. I'm so frustrated by her character. She just becomes braindead every time love is involved. It's painful to watch what the writers made of that character as she is actually smart and badass at work. I get that not everyone can be confident in love; you can be shy and even be a coward but this is just too much. The writers did her dirty. The tag 'Clumsy/Eccentric Female Lead' is a HUGE understatement.
I am in love with her since Mr. Queen. I've watched every clip of her on youtube. She has such a fun personality. Looking forward to seeing her in more projects!
Came here after Trans Siberian Pathfinders. I really liked him, he came across as a lively and smart man on this travel show. Looking forward to seeing him in future projects.
Meh at best. The comedy was not up to par with what the drama showed us before. It introduced new informations that completely contradicted the events, the theme and the plot of the drama. Not awful but not good either unfortunately.
I'm just ... disappointed. I LOVED this show, so much it makes the disappointment even greater. I'll for sure remember it fondly but I'll always be frustrated by the ending.
I've wanted to watch this classic for a long time and was excited to see it. But this "sassy girl" is just plain abusive, I couldn't see past it, even if the story has other good qualities. I know "it's another culture and another era", but looking at it through 2021 lenses didn't make it an enjoyable watch. Sad as I really like Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun. Dropped it halfway but skimmed a bit to see the ending (which was very cute).
Who here also really enjoys seeing Dan-Ah's secretary on screen ? I find his subtle reactions to the CEO's shenanigans hilarious. And I like how he cares for Seo Tae Woong. Jung Ji Hyun is my fave side character so far.
I've been waiting for the mid drama usual dragging (like in most k-dramas around the 10th ep) but it never came. Every episode is entertaining and feels like it's only 30min long. What great writing and directing!

Thank you for answering!
