I'm adding a comment, you'll never get to sleep *insert evil laugh*
I'm currently in the second stage of drama-dropping, this sport of yours. It was all Shinee (I had to pay homage to your kpop dad joke) at the beginning but now I loose my patience. The dropping started with my first slump and it grows continuously. But exactly like you said (are you a mind reader?) I do not drop dramas earlier than halfway through (except one or two *cough* Abyss *cough*).
This drama is like your own personal therapy. The calm, quiet feeling you get is healing. It shines on the darkest corners of your heart. When you're going through hardships, just the thought of this show makes you feel better. I don't want it to end.
Honestly a meh. The first episode was really interesting but then the nonsensical romance took over everything. Wish they would have just depicted the love story from 1979.
"BL or not", honey this was full on BL, they confessed their feelings to each other or talked about liking each…
Hahahahaha "honey", that's not what I meant by BL or not, I meant it by it was a beautiful love story with insane chemistry regardless of gender. I wrote that cos I know lots of people are still reticent with LGTBQ+ content so I wanted to highlight the amazing love in this show. Plus, I even wrote I hoped for more LGTBQ+ projects so I clearly knew it was BL xD
ps : you should maybe edit your comment as spoiler for those who have not seen it yet :)
Such a good drama, BL or not, the chemistry was just on point, the emotions were raw. Hoping for more korean LGTBQ+ content in the next years. This certainly shows there is a place for it!
I don't have a problem with stories who deal with cheating but it was not done well in this one. I rated Together with Me: The Next Chapter 5/10 (TWM- 7/10).
I've been reading the novel this drama is based on because I just couldn't let go of the story. And surprise, I actually find that the drama is BETTER than the novel. It has never happened for me before, I always find that drama/movie adaptations of books don't come close to the original work.
But here, all the changes the production did to the plot, the timejumps, the characters, their introduction and their development are just so on point and improve the story (imo). I haven't finished the book yet, but 500 pages in (halfway) and I don't feel connected to the characters as I felt when I was halfway in the drama. I'll wait till the completion of my reading before deciding on my final opinion, but the drama shows again its high quality.
Tho, yes, it's safe to say that the WY/LZ scenes in the book are just ... delicious.
I would recommend reading the novel without reading guides (they contain spoilers, interpretations that are too…
Was replying to the other person but you perfectly answered my question (well, with a username like yours it's not difficult to see why ^_^). I'll keep reading the Exiledrebels version.

What makes you say it's a better translation ? I'm currently reading the Exiledrebels version so I'm curious to see if there's even a better one, cos the quality is amazing so far.
Why did Tutor hate Fight so much from the beginning ? I thought there was a deeper meaning but is it really just…
Yep, makes total sense, I agree with your opinion. I think I'm just so used to seeing huge identical crises within fictional characters when sexual orientations are involved. Here, it went smoother than usual, it was more "natural".

Not that it really matters at the end, but the show didn't explicitly address it. Were both of them already aware of their own sexual orientation ? Or was it a discovery with each other ? The story is really ambiguous about it. Cos they both seem surprised and troubled to be "excited" by the other but at the same time, as we said, they were flirting from the beginning. I may be a bit too involved in the plot and should just enjoy it as it is haha.
