Mmmh ok, it clarifies things a bit. So I wasn't seeing things when at the very beginning, Fighter wanted to give Tutor a bottle of water and they started flirting. I was convinced it was clear flirting on both sides so I was really surprised when the show seemed to make it look like they were "just friends". Then Fighter gave the water to Hwahwa (I understood after with the whole Fighter's dad situation).

Why did Tutor hate Fight so much from the beginning ? I thought there was a deeper meaning but is it really just because Fight picked on him ?

Really like the series but there's one thing that still puzzled me till the end, will post my question in the comment as spoiler.

I guess I needed to see the completion of the story to feel what was special about it. But now, I'm like happy. I belong somewhere, here in this marvelous rabbit hole xDDD

Finished the show last night. Started reading the novel this morning.

I think that says everything on how much this drama stays in my mind ? xD
To be honest, my watching experience wasn't that exciting. I put the drama on hold several times, I wasn't that into it. But now that it's finished, I'm hooked. I want more.

Haha it's always nice chatting with fellow admirers of The Untamed. I can't let go of the story, so I find myself talking to anybody who mentions this drama xD

I was like you too, it took me a while to get into it. At the beginning, I watched only one or two episodes at a time (even tho I usually binge watch 50ep in 4days). I had like "phases" where I would watch 4 or 5 in one go then nothing for a week, then again 3 -4 ep and then nothing. But at the end, I finished the last 10 episodes in one go. : I was hooked! I can't tell you how it is gonna be for you, it's different for everybody. My advice would be, don't force yourself, take it slow cos it'll grow on you.

Plus, many people thought after finishing it that the drama was only "okay" but then they realized the story lingered in their mind for DAYS even weeks. It's the case for me. That's why I'm lurking in this comment section answering people because I can't let go of The Untamed even tho my watching experience wasn't that exciting. But the story is like branded in me ^_^

Yep, it's heartbreaking but it allows us to better understand the deep bond between them. Apparently, there's plenty more of these bittersweet moments in the novel, so I'm starting to read it ^_^

You put into words exactly what I felt. I, too got into the drama because of all the AMAZING reviews it received. I enjoyed watching the drama but nothing more. I put it on hold several times cos I wasn't that immersed into the plot.
But here I am ... several days later ... looking at all the BTS footage I can find online and lurking on MDL or any other forums about The Untamed. Even more, I started reading the novel today. This story just lingers in my mind, it's like there is unfinished business between us. I want more.

I also dropped The Untamed after the 1st ep, then again after the 2nd and then again after the 10th (or so) episode. So I understand your brother ^_^ Just take it slow, maybe just watch one episode every few days. But once I was hooked, I was hooked.

I haven't read the novel yet, but apparently it is explained in there. After WWX's death, LZ got drunk and found an old item from the Wen Clan (the hot-iron thingy). In an act of despair and grieving, LZ branded himself in the same spot as WWX with the hot-iron.

I am soooooo excited. Can't get over this show, I have been desperate to find any other drama that matches their chemistry and level of skinship but I can't find any.

If you hesitate watching this drama, GIVE IT A SHOT.
I still come back to this drama months after watching it! I've seen 50+ more dramas since then but still haven't found anywhere this level of chemistry and spark.

As many others, I also dropped it at first cos the situations were a bit over the top and the ML was weeeeird. But once the story develops, you understand his behavior and the character just takes over your heart like no other ever did. So, be patient and you'll have the time of your life!

Well then, you're in for a hell of a ride. The ML is hella eccentric. Enjoy !

But just to warn you. The show IS a bit weird, actually a lot weird. It took me several episodes to get used to the weird-ass male lead hahaha. You'll get it when you see it ;)
